I could put a drawing of a gun made in crayon by a 3 year old on my fridge and I'd get an email from KZbin telling me my kitchen has been demonetized. I'm not a guntube person, but their rules spill out into so many other things so often that it's clearly ridiculous since I see people who don't do gun stuff complaining about getting demonetized EVERY DAY it seems like.

KZbin loves to "demonitize" as much as possible. Since then they just keep all that cash they were going to pay out. Its probably a percentage on a spreadsheet somewhere that they try and increase when they need to show more profit.

The music kinda sounds like Pinkerton by weezer but only for the first minute and 40 seconds though. Especially the last 3 songs on the album. I wonder if he chose that intro music because of the agent thing. Or I'm either just too Weezer brainrotted.

This was an unusual, but fun build, Boylei! Growing up in the 1960's - 1970's, I built my share of 1:1 scale antique firearms made by Revell, Pyro and Life-Like. Not long ago, Lindberg and Round 2 reissued some of the flintlock pistols to take advantage of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie popularity; and I built them all! In the very near future, Atlantis will be coming out with the Pyro 4 foot long Kentucky Rifle, as well. Hopefully, if this one sells, they'll consider issuing more in the series. The old Pyro kits included plenty of Western / Civil War guns, including a Winchester 1873 Saddle Rifle kit. They also had a Wheelock Rifle and a Pepperbox Pistol kit that would warm the hearts of "Critical Role" / "Vox Machina" fans, collectors and cosplayers if they ever decided to reissue them! I can only imagine the works of art you'd be able to make from these . . . . As always, thanks for sharing your skills and imagination! My Like is in the 1.2Ks

Hey man, I hope you won't stop making 1:1 scale wild imaginary world gun, there's so many more guns you can kitbash/make it look cooler. I know KZbin is a bit on the unfair side with anything that involves, or even just the word "gun", maybe you can emphasize on your titles that its a none fuctioning or airsoft/ airgun toy/prop. Your wild imaginary world guns has inspired me to work on designing anf one day making my own prop guns for various settings. Also side not if you do consider continuing your 1:1 scale guns, hope you consider the following, Winchester 1896, buffalo rifle, Spencer repeater, those percussion cap revolver like the Remingtons 1858 and colt 1851 or if you want one to just kitbash, I know there's a airsoft model 3 revolver and a dart blaster that looks like an 1887. Cheers and I hope you keep crafting those cool guns

Most black powder revolvers didnt use fluted cylinders. They would usually have some filigree to add decoration instead.
@wolfwind96583 күн бұрын
The scallops in the side of a cylinder are there to lighten the overall weight. They are optional and older arms meant for more power would often not have them for more strength. So you could have gotten away without needing to make the scallops.

The KZbin human reviewers are more robotic than the algorithm itself. In numerous occasions I have had well researched replies, with detailed historical references included, repeatedly removed, just because it supposedly violates their cryptic “community guidelines”. It would be much of an issue if 1) they stated in their reply the specific “guidelines” that were allegedly violated, and 2) if they provided a very clear (and responsive) appeal process. By the time you finally reach one of their “human” reviewers, the customer is so completely fed up with the situation that anything the review tells you feels snarky and dismissive. There’s really no need for things to have to be so exasperating or most issues to escalate to that point. It is horrible customer service, plain and simple. And you end up getting the feeling that they know full well that their system is terrible but they just couldn’t care less because this medium of communication has become a necessity these days.
