As a Roller coaster nerd I just want to add a couple of things: 1: your “Childhood favourite roller coaster” is a extremely common model. A Zyclon Galaxi. Over 60 were made and many still operate across the world 2: because of that your childhood roller coaster still exists. The serpent is currently being rebuilt in Spain and it will apparently reopen this year! 3: Because of that electric skateboard, this ride is technically a powered roller coaster. And since you have the ability to stop the electric current with the scoreboards controller (you basically have a on board break), this is also technically a Mountain coaster, something you find pretty often at Mountain resorts. Unironically you could have this ride installed permanently somewhere close to Yellowstone and it would look like a legit ride. 4) That graphic with the prices of different roller coasters was way way off. Like coasters that you said were worth 500K were actually in the tens of millions of dollars range. The most expensive roller coasters built by Disney and universal are close to big budget Movie prices, 100 to 300M dollars.

Dude that's so awesome! What a fun build! As a coaster enthusiast it made me laugh when you showed the prices of roller coasters with pictures of coasters that costed about 40x the amount you had on screen. For example, X2 initially cost $45m to build then $10m more to renovate 💀

In case anybody is interested, the amusement park he went to as a kid was the "LeSourdsville Lake/Americana Amusement Park". "The park was sold in 1961, and following heavy competition from nearby Kings Island, it was rebranded Americana Amusement Park in 1978. An electrical fire in 1990 caused over $5 million in damages and led to bankruptcy. The park continued to operate under several different owners before eventually closing in 1999." from Wikipedia

Two of the three roller coasters that closed with the park still exist. The kiddie coaster stayed on Ohio and moved to "Sluggers and Putters". Serpent is currently planned to reopen soon at Niagra Amusement Park (Niagra Falls NY)

You should consider making your roller coaster gravity operated without a electric skateboard pusher like real roller coasters, you can make an incline that like goes up to the roof where you have the skateboard wheels interact with the track and then end the skateboard gripping rails on the top to let the coaster coast on the track (hence the name coaster), you could make a massive drop down from the ceiling and then you can even add some sort of barrel roll inversion (a roller coaster is called with such name because it can spin in the roll axis without having to draw a curve in the space and it coasts on the track using gravity) and add sharp turns that have banked track so you experience some G force

You need to secure the seat so people dont fall, paint it yellow like you did inside, and at the start and end, add a small wall made from wood. If you dont stop it in time, the wall does, so it's safer.

This is really awesome👏 during the pandemic I saw a few stories on the news about fathers building roller coasters for their kids, but they were kind of all small mini ones However I now realize how much more impressive it is seeing it being constructed from the 1st try step-by-step!
