As a Rock base and cave builder the unfortunate thing is since you had them placed in the terrain (rock) then upgraded the foundation they will disappear its nice that you can place in terrain but just remember to upgrade first or pick them up before upgrading its a double edge sword when u place in terrain. Helpful tips. 😊

Whatever servers you play on check the collision of natural rock formations and barrels. Some servers haven't fixed it and you can put them partially into rocks, works great for limited space bases.

I've not seen it done before, but with your proficiency with the electrical and piping system, would a base that uses external dropboxes piped into a multi-bunkered and trapped core base be something you could pull off? Like a spiderweb or net spread over a cluster of rocks, on a mountain top, or hidden over the edge of a ocean cliff? You could hide the dropbox inside bushes, behind rugs, or nested up inside rocks, and just run up to depot loot instead of having to jump deep into your main base some distance away or up cliffs.

idea for a future wipe: you're not allowed to use stone for building :P This would encourage to setup electric furnaces + pipelines asap and you wouldn't farm everything first in stone and then in metal ore. You could still farm stone to trade it for wood.
