Not sure if you've tried it already, but for the bottom of the base, just try attaching more wall pieces below the upper ones. They should snap on and mesh into the ground and look much better than pillars or anything else

i paused the video as soon as you made that clock tower and said you will not make it accusable , because the sec you made it what popped in my head is " he is probably going to add secret doors to it from the outside and normal door in the inside and put the inde forge in there " , because ITS THE PERFECT SPOT FOR IT ! xD lol but yah as always awesome building skills man i really love watching your builds also side note : that inner roof issue where when you removed 1 wall and it all get removed you can solved it by adding a pillar support for it that go under the foundation ofc you will have the do the pillar lowering trick to get it to be lower than the foundation and not visible but yah it will act as the support for that for roof without having it visible name suggestion : the mystic mansion

The steampunk pillars have another variant too where they mimic the stone columns of the walls. Makes the corners look way better from the outside and sorta works as a bottom for the wall's columns :)

Difference between Syntac and me. Syntac: In single player I built these in a different position so these things weren't in the ground so much, but it's ok. Love the build! An idea if you're not a big fan of the greenhouse doors - place a ladder in the tall doorway walls and put a steampunk skin on the ladder. Kind of looks like windows that works with the steampunk flare :)

I think the steampunk sinks look really good, but the frontier set is legendary. The steampunk set is going for a very specific vibe, which makes it a bit difficult to just use in a build and make it look nice all the time, but the frontier set has this really nice look to it where it is essentially just wood+, you can use those skins on any build and it will look good. Since it is such a lowkey vibe it also has the unique ability to seamlessly make any structure look like it's made of wood, like if you're at the very start of the game and wood is just too expensive, you can put the frontier skin on the thatch and make it look like you have a wooden house. Or if you're living in an exceptionally dangerous area and have to have a stone house but you still want the look of wood, you can again just put the frontier skin on and make your house look like it's made of wood

I remember some of the artifacts in ASE being wider than the pedestal, so placing them right up against a wall meant as the artifact spun it would phase through the wall. I'm not sure about Aberration's artifacts, but you might want to move the pedestal a little away from the wall to be safe.

Don't worry about "building it perfectly the 1st time" syn. The only way to do that is with gcm and either reverse breaking things down trick or practicing a build before filming. We like you because you are playing the game and having fun. You talk your way through your process and make jokes to connect with your audience. That's why we watch you. Your fun and your builds are cool & unique. Don't feel you have to change to please a small section of people, just be yourself. People love ya. It doesn't take a lot to figure out how to copy a build because of your progress thought segments, but your builds do inspire people to build cool things regardless. So don't feel pressed to do something ya don't want to do.

Build wise (this is just from my opinion you can do whatever you want on builds) to avoid the meshing of window frames I usually go for the thin pillars as they work well with the frontiers skin to hide some crevices when working with green house glass walls (without the window skin) on the edges

I feel like the room with the large vertical windows would be a better place for the Office/Study, mostly because it has a bit more room for the desk and chair. The current spot looks a bit cramped to walk around. Otherwise, I think the "port windowed rooves" should be at the top of the build.

idk if you can place drawing paper on horizontal surfaces, but if you can, you should totally put a bunch of desks together or use a round table and use the paper to make blueprints and have it be an old fashioned drafting table. Even if you can't, blueprints would be a great use for the drawing paper. btw, anyone else notice how the steampunk desk has a mechanism to tilt to make it easier to draw?

Maybe put ramps to cover up that lip that sticks out over the foundation? I definitely think these were meant for metal walls/ceilings though. Once you get to that point I think making a whole steampunk factory could be really cool.

Always putting up some really nice builds. However, IMO when looking at Steampunk art, the real challenge is to create very asymmetrical structures where it's almost like taking a regular building and constantly adding small, awkward looking extensions all over the place that have been added over a long period of time. Outgrowths if you will. Just something to consider....

Can you paint the piano? It seems to rustic for your set up, I think either black for high class or if can do multiple sections greys for like a pipe organ look. Maybe even table and chairs could do with different colours too to match better
