I Built a Sunken Pirate Ship Treasure Hunt for my Friends to Solve!

Hey everyone back again with more Scrap Mechanic! Today we are completing treasure hunts for each other so I decided to make an underwater pirate ship!

I see a few people talking about an echo, not exactly sure how this could have happened. All the audio comes from my sources where the video swapping is from Moonbo and Scrapman sending me their video portions only. I didn't use any audio from either of them. I also don't hear any echo, y'all be crazy :P

I like this idea. How about using the whole world though and individual buildings or objects have secrets in. Players have to drive around and use something from their vehicle for each one. Can call the challenge the World Map Treasure Hunt. Each player has to use the entire map and have a special drivable vehicle.

If you turn the volume way up you can definitely hear a echo of what you just said but only after you finish a sentence and it is quiet.

I really like that you guys went with the "show the other peoples perspective"-Format in your videos. That's something that I always found missing, even in the Zeepkist ones, that we only see that one perspective and never the perspectives of the other ones. Please keep doing it like that!

same, im not creative enough for games like this either. im MUCH more a practical "does it function" type person. so any designs i have wont look good, but will function well. hence why i have around 4000 hours in factorio

@@alericjohansen6775 well I also had a very basic entry level gaming tower with a weak 4gb gpu and finally upgraded the ram, fans and installed a 12gb rtx 3060 gpu so finally have a decent build now so I'll be buying more games

Awesome build kAN! I love the planks floating to the surface to get the crow's nest switch, very creative. When I saw what you did with the ship's steering wheel I about flipped because I recently did something similar in the Hide and Seek map I finished a few days ago thinking "Nobody will suspect this..." lol. I've already said this on their channels but the new format with their perspectives is awesome. I'm a video editor too and doing multiple camera angles is time consuming (especially if you're doing a play from several different days lol) but it adds so much quality. :)

Suggestion for about 1-6 dozen videos. Revisit some of your oldest challenges. see how your methods evolved over time compared to back then, as well as how all the new content would influence those old challenges. 23 examples: Racing with only 20 blocks challenge. Punkin' Chunkin' (Multiplayer Pumpkin Catapult Challenge) BattleBots Arena Challenge The Toast Olympics Build as you go (and an expansion towards this idea... do a time trial race where you can't build a vehicle at all. instead, you need to build your dwarf's path to get to the end as fast as possible. the catch is that the dwarf cannot touch the ground at any time. they can only walk on things they've built. [maybe prohibit seat jumping to force some creativity]) Only 1 of each part challenge Tiny Car Challenge (how small can you actually go? 6x6? 4x4?) Narrow car challenge Wide car challenge Long car challenge Tall car challenge Blind Racing Walker Challenge Random Wheels Challenge Frankencar challenge (4 mechanics, 1 car) No Seat Controls Challenge Monkey Bars Challenge Junkyard Challenge (blow up a bunch of your more common creations, and from those remnants, build a new vehicle) Explosive Mortar Target Range Challenge Spleef Hammer Powered Cars Challenge Underground Racing Challenge (only the wheels are on the surface) Explosive Olympics No one should rewatch those videos until after the revisit is completed, to see if anyone made the same mistakes again.

Have you considered a co-op challenge/escape? Where players might be in separate rooms but their actions affect the other persons environment. Player A flips a switch that reveals a switch code/pattern to player B, who then has to relay it back to player A, etc. The person whose puzzle/escape room takes the longest to solve would be the winner maybe? Just a thought.

I was going to build a challenge pack that involved a rail guided vehicle with ball receptacles on it. The vehicle stops at each building and you solve the puzzles inside to release the ball and move to the next one. Each building's puzzles would have a theme, like find the button, card reader/inserter, ball/piston mazes, puzzle boxes, etc. Then I realized I can figure out how to make the puzzles work but not how to make levels look good so I stopped. If there is something in this idea you all can use, please do.
