Hey man, awesome vid, I know you are new to farming tea so here's a few things that may help: - I didn't see if you did or not but repair your solar panels back to full health, they lose power production when they lose health. - you can chuck the heater above the planter with the wall next to it and place a low wall on the other one to place another heater to get your temp optimal. (really kind of required in the snow if you don't want the plants to struggle growing and take ages) - you dont need a water splitter for sprinklers, they have passthroughs like ceiling lights so you just link them together, one water pump can run 6 sprinklers. - I would advise chucking the pump inside so you can turn it off and on from inside and dont need to expose yourself to get water running. - also a switch after your branch so you can turn everything off and on will help you retain battery power for your turrets when offline. - eat your berries as you collect them to save inventory space, you only need to carry seeds. - plant different coloured berries next to each other to stop them cross pollinating and ruining your genes. that way you can save good genes to clone. - you can put plant fibres in your composter to get fertiliser too, it takes a long time though and you need a heap of them unlike with horse dung. - 1 fertiliser will be used for every seed you plant in your planter. so 9 fertiliser is a full grow in a large planter. - optimal water isnt the full 9k ml, it's somewhere between 5.5k and 7k ml. - don't pick your cloth or berries until the plant says ripe, while its fruiting is when it starts producing your yield. the plants you picked for 20 cloth could have given you 50 each with the right genes and you can get 5+ berries a plant with the right genes. -optimal genes are 4y's 2g's for yield and growth or 4g's 2y's for faster growth. (higher yield genes also give you more clones) - you could also sell lower level teas for fertiliser if you don't want to make your own, will help you produce more higher value teas. - if you get decent clones sell them in your vending machine too when you have made a few. they are worth a lot to most farmers. Hope that helps :) I'm so happy to see you building and utilising some of the more under-utilised parts of the game, so many solos never even try these things out and they are a heap of fun. lol the guy you stole the eoka raid off was the same naked who helped you bait the raid

Small tip for Rust electricians that want to have neater wiring: Hold R or the reload button while holding out the wire tool, this will allow you to change the colour of the wire for example, have red for power and yellow for lights. Hopefully some people find this helpful.

my friend and i make a tea farm very often and a big one. very few people understand the power that pure teas have. i just made a pure wood tea yesterday and got over 8 boxes of wood with it in about 20 minutes. we also both made pure ore teas before and each got an inv of sulfur in about 15 mins plus our horses were filled up. i see people selling pure teas for about 3k sulfur a lot and they don’t realize that only takes like 5 nodes and you profit. imo they should be sold for around 10k sulfur lol. they’re incredible

You make 150 sulfur per node, so You would need to farm 20 nodes to break even if they are sold for 3 k sulf, if the area is unfarmed for ages its worth 3 k, if its farmed recently, You might not even profit at all

Hey Will, love the chill Vibes as always. Especially the farm looks cozy as heck. However, you REALLY need to isolate your good genes from other plants otherwise your plants will inevitably get the worst genes possible. When u get good genes plant them like a the 5 pattern on a dice and wait for them to crossbreed then plant 4 more in the remaining part of the planter. Max yield in no time. Love ya xx

@? spider ? yeah, check out tamura77's Video on genetics, best guide. W and X are bad traits and need to be replaced by having more plants with G or Y genes surrounding the problematic plant. Once you have a sapling with your desired genes clone it. Rinse and repeat.

My main base always uses 2 large planters. What I’ve learned is too get the planters up asap so you can get an xxxyyy or xxyyyy clone. You only need a light, sprinklers aren’t needed. Make sure to either buy or stock up on water jugs. Just spam water catchers (1 large is frankly enough if you only harvest twice a day). A heater is needed in the cold. The heater heats up the square directly in front of it and the square left and right of the square in front of it. It also heats up 1 level up/down. Basically, if you put it up almost touching the ceiling, it will heat up the floor above as well. If you put it down low, it will heat up the downstairs floor as well. Look to buy a clone instead of crossbreeding, it’s MUCH faster. Expect crossbreeding to take at least an hour. Using planters is op. You basically have unlimited cloth which means you don’t have to recycle sewing kits and rope, meaning more kits, and meds. I honestly don’t bother with berries since it’s not worth all the hassle. Picking up berries by launch is faster. It is overwhelming at first and it feels like it’s too much work, but once you start doing it you get better at it and therefore it feels easier/less cumbersome.
