That’s what cities look like to me too, Kevin. I’m from the Gaelic Highlands in Scotland and my home has less than 750 people. I moved to a city for better access to medical care as I’ve a few disabilities and need easy medical access without having to travel for hours, and your depiction of cars driving around madly is EXACTLY how I feel about the city I live in. Just not used too it at all, I really miss being able to walk on the road because it was so quiet that you rarely saw traffic, not having any sodium glow and easily seeing the Aurora Borealis (located entirely within my kitchen), and not hearing constant traffic.

I feel the same way. I'm from a small town and soon I'll be moving to a more populated place for the exact same reason. I'll really miss seeing the northern lights at night (at this time of year?) but it'll be a new adventure at least.

Moved from a village of around 450 people to a city with more people (50k satellite city next to a metropolis) than my entire county. The convenience of finally having delivery is great, but it's terrifying to go out driving with several thousand people on the road at once. My heart goes out to you, one formerly rural human to another. Never really thought how much I would miss the stars and quiet walks in the woods until it was gone.

Fun animal fact: Ringtail lemurs have one of the most unique conflict-resolution tactics of all animals: stink fights. This is literally a perfect recreation of Copperhead Strike from Carowinds amusement park in North Carolina. I have a season pass and live 45 minutes away from it...kinda surreal to see it on here! It's one of the best coasters I've ever ridden, probably second only to Fury 325, also at Carowinds.
