You don't want a timed release, you want a proximity release. More effective for this sort of device. Although would probably just be easier for Yannic to add a flipper that yeets you when you drive over it.

The look of the track gave me an idea. What if you had one ramp that lead to 3 different tracks depending on the angle you take it? Then you put a checkpoint on each track and make them all loop back to the same ramp so you can get the checkpoints on the other tracks. When you've cleared all the checkpoints you can finally end.
@Nevir2022 жыл бұрын
One of them has already done something like that, though it was a matter of repeatedly passing through the finish with more and more speed, to make bigger jumps up to higher levels to get all the checkpoints. Think it was a kAN map...

The idea you were talking about in the beginning actually has to do with chaos theory rather than the butterfly effect. Although, chaos theory plays a huge role in why the butterfly effect is the way it is, so the mix-up is pretty understandable lol

"If you're on it already it doesn't launch you as far" The teeter has already started turning, yeah? So it has to cancel out the (anti)clockwise velocity before it can impart velocity in the opposite direction, and then overcome the change in position relative to the start.

The "butterfly effect" is when a supposedly insignificant input action starts a chain of events which unforeseeably leads to a massive change very far in space or time. (the wing's beat of a butterfly triggers a tornado the other side of the globe) No it doesn't relate too much in this case. :) Happy 2023 Kosmo!
