I still like the idea of a map where taking shortcuts at the start makes obstacles further in, using logic. Not like a trap, not so that the shortcuts aren't worth taking, but just so it's a bit easier when you're doing it the "proper" way. Get people used to the track, have them find the shortcuts, and then suddenly they're scrambling with an extra challenge

Make a trap where one obvious shortcut early prevents you from a far better shortcut afterwards. The more sure you are of your first shortcut the more you miss the later ones.

What you should try is make a map where you can just w key the entire map through various sketchy shortcuts and whatnot and have that be the fastest way to possibly complete the map

Hey man! Long-time viewer that got hooked onto your Scrap Mechanic Challenge Videos. I understand the joking about how you keep screwing up even at your own track, but yeah don’t put yourself short of what you can do, even joking about your worthlessness on Codewalt’s track. You’ve got a lot of good friends and fans that love you and want to support you as much as you’ve inspired, and hope you’ll continue for a while longer at least Sorry about the rambling and thank you for reading all of it if you’re this far. I have an intresting theme idea, pirates: with a twist that by collecting three “chests” (activating logic along the track), you could pay a skull (gate that opens jaws) for a 10-second shortcut to the finish. The possible tell would be following the tracks with a subtle red X on them. Again sorry for rambling and I don’t expect this to be popular, I just wanted to comment on how much you’ve been awesome gamer and a great content creator!

Another interesting idea would be to have completely invisible shortcuts, but you can’t tell where they start or end, so you’ll basically have people continuously flying off the track until they find the actual route 🗿 (also the visible path wouldn’t actually take you to the finish)

Kan keeps trying to make trick tracks and keeps failing at completion. If you can't validate your own track in less than 10 minutes, it shouldn't be at rack. If it takes you 1hr to validate, then you need to go back to the drawing board.
