What can I even say...Scrap Mechanic Survival Mode is HERE and it's AWESOME! I am so excited to be playing this update, especially a few days early before it actually comes out! Even for a Scrap Mechanic noob such as myself, I've spent so much time in Creative Mode that playing Survival Mode felt like a completely new game! From exploring new areas, learning new mechanics, encountering angry farmbots, collecting resources...all the way to building my FIRST truck and trailer in Scrap Mechanic Survival, I can easily say I am having a blast with this update. I hope you guys enjoyed watching this episode as much as I enjoyed playing it, and let me know if you'd like to see more!

Y'know Kosmo, Your actually the first person I've seen building a truck and trailer, most other people do a more bare-bones vehicle, but this is different, and I like it. It was fun to see your reaction to the farmbots. I hope you keep making these SMS videos.

I have already watched 7 other youtubers play through that early opening. Previously Kan was the most entertaining, but you're the new champion. I loved every single moment. Easily the best looking and practical survival vehicle I've seen so far. That's including those by players deeper into the game with better parts. Take good care of it, I'd hate to see it ruined by a farmbot.

Kosmo I think you have the best starter vehicle out of everyone I've been watching. Nobody has even thought of using a trailer yet. Keep up the good work. I think because you are newer to scrap mechanic that you don't have alot of the "creative mindset" that the more senior players have so it actually gives you a bit of an advantage. Keep em coming!

awesommeee, your vehicle is by far the best starting one ive seen. Ive only been watching scrapman's videos to keep myself a bit more, uh, untouched by the game so i could also have somewhat of a first experience, but when i saw you had uploaded one i had to watch. I cant wait to see you make a bunch of chests or something and strap them on the back of your truck/trailer.

Yes kosmo doing SMS video. I am soo happy. Here some tips for you 1.Add storage to your car/vehicle to add more inventory space (for example, add locker from the crash ship) 2. Jump while fighting farmbot is a good idea 3. I recomment you to not eat tomato ad carrot yet. You need to trade with something in the future Thanks kosmo, love your video btw ^_^

Kosmo, both at the tower where you found the battery and at the building where you got ambushed by 4 chatbots you left lootcrates, supplies and scrap untouched. Particularly in upper layers you didn't go to. There's also a loot crate behind the stairs where you found the bucket.

I would LOVE to see more from your survival plythrough! I love the trailer, no one else has tried that that I've seen. You might want to expand the truck's flatbed to make room for supplies as it seems others struggle with inventory management (although your trailer helps with that a lot). Since you've been watching Kan and other's, I'm sure you know at this point about the mechanic's workshop some distance down the road. I say once you get the basics set up here at the ship(which you seem almost done with), you should head towards the workshop scavenging everything you find along the way. And I mean EVERYTHING, as it seems every thing you find will be useful later. There are some wood and scrap shacks along the way that I think you should tear down for building materials and supplies. Best of luck! I know you'll do great!

I also really like the truck,kinda reminds me of some 50’s muscle cars because of the long back hubcap and how the grill is centered in the lower middle of the front with the lights to each side,also your the only person to not make a mid engine rwd car,I like how you keep it different

when you are at the mechanic shop make a bed thro crafted craft bot and put a bed on your car, so you can spawn on your car when you die (when you sleep in any bed in survival your spawn point will change)

Hey Kosmo, I did it! This is V 2.0 of my truck and trailer.... the first one was the same thing but lower (so i got stuck a lot), and instead of wood bed and walls it had the big scrap wall pieces plus it had the scrap engine so walking with it on the lift was faster :D also the engine compartment was like 2x smaller. steamcommunity.com/id/Gloigord/screenshots

nice truck, i'll be taking the design and improving it on the 7th of may. edit: ways to improve already bearing suspension is a great choice (you will need 16 bearings for suspension for 4 wheels, as 1 bearing suspension for 1 wheel is 2 bearings b = block | B = Bearing bBb bBb b

So far this is the fanciest early-game vehicle i've seen. Looks similar to a mantirip, those low-profile cars that miners use to get around, but with a trailer. This "noob" is getting too good :)
