Are we related? You remind me of my male cousins on my dad's side. They do weird stuff like this. Playing with fire, trying to pat their pet pirahna and ending up going to the ER and getting a tetanus shot, loosing their pet snake in the house and it ended up in my aunt's lingerie drawer, making a casket their bedroom bed adorned with flowered wreaths on either side of the casket, driving a car with no steering wheel, but using a pair of plyers to steer. Growing up on a farm in the 70's with my cousins here in southern NC, our fun would be considered dangerous in this woke society. one memory I recall was performing no-brake bike stunts over a canal full of "bra berries" in the summertime (hard thorny huckleberries bushes)…usually ending up miscalculating the canal width and plunging in the heart of the thorny depths of hell- along with the bike. Shear agony-dreading to move knowing MORE flesh and blood will need to be sacrificed to crawl out of the pit...no help from cousins-bent over laughing their guts out. happened on numerous occasions. Another pastime was playing football behind the bleachers with my classmates at a Friday night HS football game; a "balled up" Pepsi cup was used as a football. Usually ended with all of us sustaining purple bruises, black eyes, and busted lips...but it was FUN! Thank GOD I am a country boy!
