I'm jealous. His big builds takes almost an hour. Meanwhile I spend days on my builds to get them just right lol. Good stuff. I have to touch up my ac130 with the latest gadgets. I made mine before the space update.

When you have a gunner that has to fire down, you should be lifting a pulling down - as apposed to your habit of falling and pulling up - to keep on target. Practice by flying with an aircraft while having your bottom facing the target. Down facing guns might help you practice this.

I love the V-22. It had a VERY shaky start and was even cancelled a few times, but in the end it is pretty reliable. Yes there have been crashes, but it is roughly the sale incident rate as the F-16, F-18, F-35... They all are about the same. The lack of ejection seats and the fact it carries passengers is a bit concerning, but these are designed for a slow easy landing and that is when they are most likely to fail. I think it is a FAR better platform than any helicopter, even the high speed ones they are trying to make right now to replace I think the Apache. The Osprey still goes faster and has a MUCH longer range. It still has a good lifting capacity. They could replace a lot of helicopters, especially in the Navy, with these and greatly simplify aircraft carriers and amphibious assault ships (which are basically light carriers with a bunch of marines and a Deck Well). They can easily be modified do anti submarine and search and recue. They can also add the lighter helicopter weapons like a chain gun, Hellfire missiles, 250 pound bombs, small diameter glide bombs, and rocket pods so they could provide close air support. They already do cargo and troop movement. One last one I would love to see is a Hawkeye or AWACS version (radar plane) as that is the one thing the light carriers really need. The refueling would be a new capability too. They are also looking at a refueling drone. If they could make a version that could float and take off from the water this thing would be perfect. The Navy version of the Y-22 folds its prop and the whole top boom rotates to make it take up very little space on the carriers. It is impressive to see it do this. They are making a slight smaller version, but I question if it is really any better or cheaper. It look cooler though and I think the way the engine folds instead of rotating the whole boom might make it more reliable. Either way the tilt rotor is hear to stay likely for a long time.

The AC-130 never had 2 howitzers. The current AC-130J Ghostrider has a single 105 mm M102 howitzer, a 30 mm ATK GAU-23/A autocannon, and a Gunslinger weapons system 9 (10 round magazine) that can fire Vyper or Griffin missiles. The Gunslinger system replaced the typical 25mm 5 barrel chain gun the last active model had. Currently the Ghostrider is the only version that is not retired. They have also added 2 wing hardpoints that can carry 4 bombs or missiles each like the Small Diameter Bombs or Hellfire missiles.

reason I like Scrap Mechanic: it's difficult to take shortcuts. Trailmakers seems to make it way to easy to take shortcuts instead of finding real mechanical solutions. maybe that's just me.

I just imagine that the US Air Force is just watching this video and they're basically the equivalent of the SpongeBob meme or something like "write that down, write that down" or "take notes" But I think the real challenge for them it's not making it a vtol I think it's actually making it a vtol that doesn't break down more than a Ford does if you don't know ospreys only get about earthquake 5 months of service before 12 months or more of repairs because of how badly built they were the quality and flying is great hovering make a helicopter decent however because you tried combining it doesn't last start with the extra space of an AC 130 I think we could actually make it more successful I'm getting a cargo plane basically that is a helicopter allows it to go on the new Navy amphibious landing vehicles because they only have a helicopter pad.
