I know it would be a bit of a chore (especially considering a zipline would serve the same purpose only it would be faster and 1/100th of the material cost) but I'd love to see a bridge that links both sides of the pond near the pagoda (the cement thing in the pond). Possibly at end of the bridge, a bit that goes into the upper yard. Similar to the entrance you built on the other side of the upper yard your first play through. Great ep / edit / music as always. The view count is wild! Love to see it. CONGRATS!

The distance dont affect your farm, you need to be away for it to work better from what i experienced at least

You can get double meat by building stuffed food animals. Weevils also drop mushroom chunks, aphids drop honeydew and grubs drop extra gloop or leather.

@TorakOfficial in the last building tab, you will find stuffed critters and mounted critter heads. The stuffed ones give you a luck boost when killing, and the heads give you a damage bonus. As far as food animals; weevils, aphids, and grubs. If you are lucky, you can get a trinket from the aphids, but i think you have to steal it with the mutation or trinket.

I've got several garden plots with mushrooms growing in them, and when I travel away and rest for the night and come back to my base I have sometimes up to 15 weevils somehow magically appear in my base around my mushroom planters. I nuke them all with my fire staff and I have plenty of roast for the day. I wish I knew what triggered it other than the planters

Not a bad idea actually haha But i assume you have building destructions off? I think mushrooms are the only thing that lures the weevils to you :)

Early game ladybug [and other tougher bug] part harvesting is "best" done in the Hedge with the egg sacks. I love the music for the build montage at the end.

I don't know if this will help with the food farm or not but what I did with my food farm was build the trap as normal but have a garden patch with a mushroom growing on it elevated on a pillar or on top of the weed scaffold in the middle of the pit ramps

@TorakOfficial That but I've also noticed that if a mushroom is growing it attracts more weevils. Or at least that's how my game is. You also don't have to worry about harvesting the mushroom. But it definitely attracts more when the mushroom is full grown so give it the grow time plus a few extra days for it to fully work

If you equip a full set of any armor & turn on the hauling hero mutation you can carry 24 weed stems or grass planks at a time. Or with just a full set of ant armor it’s 15. 😊

"The story mode isn't going to matter in this series" That is unfortunate. Given the age of this video, you're the closest I've seen to an updated walkthrough of this game (that's also solo), and I'd like one that does cover the story mode.

A tip for the bombardiers that I found out about while playing is that their "shotgun blast" is parryable för some reason, at least when I played it last so give it a shot maybe?

It's parryable with a shield yeah but the acid still hits the floor so you can still stand in it and take damage

hi a tip that i have 4 the tower if you make trampoliens in a 1x1 you can go straght up its faster then stairs it might take more time but it makes up for it

Im curious, i havnt tried it yet but what if the auto food farm was built around a red mushroom(since lots of weevils tend to go to them to eat the small ones) will it rise the chances of catching more or will it stay roughely the same, and i cant remember correctly but i think food and resources despawn after a number of set days but i could be wrong🤔

that´s interesting, and i think it´ll work for sure. The only problem is that it´ll have to be very big to make sure the mushrooms can fit in the middle of it, but would be cool to try it for sure :)
