I literally just made it up for this build but I also really like how it turned out. It is fairly simple to do too. I also walled off the back of the furnaces using stone walls!

I’ve always wanted to join a boosted server just for building and exporting. I have a recommendation for a build that is server sized. Check out the hotel on the movie (The Shining), it’s huge.

I actually thought about making a large apartment block for this video but decided against it in the end. I prefer my servers to be slightly smaller and personal than the large 100 player servers you typically find. Thanks for the recommendation!

Sorry if this is a dumb question but will you be able to update a world that has already been played on with the ashlands update while keeping all your progress already made?

It’s a good question. As long as you have not built in the Ashlands there should be no problem keeping all your current progress. If you have built in the Ashlands, you may have some overlapping issues when the biome is populated for the first time. For example, a house may get overwritten or new content won’t spawn properly at that location. This is what happened with the Mistlands update anyway!

Yes, they can. I am hoping that players will treat it well but of course changes can be made if I have overlooked certain aspects. It is just a starting point to use as inspiration!

How much time did you spend building this ?

Good question. I am honestly not too sure. I would probably guess somewhere between 10-15 hours including thinking of the layout and designs. The majority of the buildings were slight adaptations to builds I have made in the past. Additionally, I have quite a lot of hours building in this game now so it is a much faster process than it was for me previously.

Do I have to start a brand new seed for the ashlands update?

Good question. The answer is no. Although, if you have already built in the Ashlands, new content may not spawn properly, or it may override your builds. Hope this helps!
