Hey everyone! Welcome to another video and today we're back in Zeepkist for more themed track builds! This episode the track theme is "MOVIE" and BOY did I struggle with coming up with an idea for this one....but rest assured, I am confident I pulled it off :D I decided to theme my track around the famous Jamaican bobsled team movie, Cool Runnings! I did so by creating a solid ice bobsled run but with a special Kosmu twist :) No pun intended... Turns out there was a huge bug at the time of recording this where crashing stopped the timer during a run, so if the zeepkist body made it to the finish, you'd get the time from the moment you crashed!

@@darealkosmo The bug's been patched! A couple of us replayed the track right after the recording session, some of us even got 44 second times! lol.

we only found the bug after the recording, trying to figure out why cbad is loosing at the track. Warcans once got a wr on track of the day of 1:31 on a bobsled track, cbad played the track for 5 minutes and set a 1:27 wr and later improved it to 1:25. also skipping the loop was much faster but the speed made you crash the ending and got better times because of the bug

Idea: Each of you have your own 'style' of tracks. You should draw names and build tracks that are in the style of someone else. So like you build a Dapper Track, Dapper builds a Kan track, etc...

It's been bouncing around my head that for a few weeks the theme each week is each one of them and they all build tracks that feels quintessentially that person.

So we found a glitch in v10 because of this track. The timer was stopping when you crashed (your body slides into the finish without accruing more time) and used it to set a 44.4 second time by crashing at the loop rather than actually doing the loop. (already fixed in newer versions)

was watching the build start and im like "huh, that setup seems familiar" went there in 88 for mens luge as spectator, still have my ticket stub (yes, im old) went down it myself in 90s a few times in amateur luge - scary adrenaline rush

On Modkist there’s a mod where when you hold down middle mouse button you can box-select items. May make it easier to make signage :)

As soon as I saw you were making it from icy pipes I went "ok this has to be Cool Running right?" And I'm very happy to be correct! That was a really good movie, I saw it in the hospital and they let me keep the dvd :)

You know what this game really needs? MOVING PARTS! Like moving platforms! You could even put them along tracks or make them timed. (Like a door that opens after hitting a certain checkpoint, or when X mind are left on the clock!

Got spoiled on the Movie theme from Scrapman's video so when I saw the ice track title and bobsled thumbnail my first guess was Cool Runnings. Making an end that you purposefully crash to slide through the finish would have actually been on theme.

Great track on it's own and a blast from the past, marvelous combo! Cool runnings are such a fun movie also! Made me think about what other movies I remember and the first one that came up was: The Gods Must Be Crazy It's about a remote bushman and his tribe, that a empty Coca-Cola bottle drop from the sky. They use it as a tool that's better than all other tools they have, so conflict starts. The bushman Xi travel to the end of the world, to return the Coca-Cola bottle they perceive as a gift from the Gods. Hilarity ensues!

I found the loop not too hard, but the second corner after with no walls killed me every time. That's also where you died most times it looks like. I managed to finish one time by slamming the brakes right after the loop, but got a really slow time.

kosemo railroads online has had a bunch of updates! there is a new steam engine called the Montezuma and a new car called the way car. all the engines and rolling stock has been implemented to work on the new splines all 4 of you starting a new world together would be lit please make this happen!!!!

its been done in an older video, cant remember who did it if it was kosmo or kan, but it doesnt work as you expect due to zeepkist not having a deterministic physics engine edit: it was kan who did it, the title of the video is *"I TROLLED my Friends with a SECRET "No Hands" Shortcut Track!"* can be found at the top in his zeepkist playlist

Looks like a potential skip if you slip over that loop that's before the osolation section and if you jump at the first s bend before section leading to the finish. Personally I'd love to join you guys just to try and find crazy skips but I think your recording these while I'm working sadly
