18:06 the reason you fell into the void because of a glitch: if pistons push you into a end portal, you will be teleported to the same coordinates of the overworld in the end (basically the void) EDIT: if someone is also pushed in at the same time as you, the glitch breaks and teleports you to the normal obsidian platform

Easy way to remember, when brewing your potions, the ditto: “redstone is length, glowstone is strength.” Redstone increases the time a potion works, while glow stone increases its level of strength from I to II. If you say it backwards, (glowstone is length, redstone is strength), it doesn’t have the same ring to it. It becomes a little bit of a tongue twister. So, if you can’t remember which saying it is, try saying both versions out loud. It’s helped me a ton!

"glowstone is length, redstone is strength" rhymes just as fine, so it can easily be confused. Instead, relate redstone to arteries (Arteries are red and long) And think of the glow in glowstone as an aura for strength. (Strength Auras are much more known than Speed Auras in my opinion

It's meant to look like a normal crafting table but the problem is the way he is showing it wrong. It should be viewed from far enough away to where it looks like you are almost seeing it in isometric projection, hence not being able to tell if it is concave or convex

The hlitch that caused you to die happens when a piston pushes a singular player into the end portal. It will teleport you to the relative cordinents of where you were in the overworld into the end. If two players go in it doesn't work

There is a glitch with pistons and end portals that can teleport you thousands of blocks away into the void. It has some weird Minecraft black magic, timey-wimey, wibbbly-wobbly stuff to set it up prior to, but then, when you get pushed through the portal with pistons, you will get teleported into the void.

It spawned you in the void because you got pushed to the side of portal by the piston. There is a glitch that if you get pushed in like that you get teleported to the exact same coordinates you were in overworld so it just spawns you in the void. Pretty good for traps if I do say so myself

@tazoh here's a tip for ya: if you dont want for someone to randomly stumble on your level 2 map illusion, use glass panes and said map in a cartography table to lock the map! this will stop all future updates and you can the destroy it in the ocean with no worry that someone will find it!

you could have made the map illusion larger by taking the original image and dividing it into 4 sections, then put them through the image to map art converter and built all four of them to make it larger and therefore better resolution
