8:42 those foundations that won't fit... you can keep building there by adding half walls and triangle floors until you clip into the wall properly if you want to squeeze some extra outta it. I sometimes do that for electrics shelves, generators etc. in my caves that lack space due to refinery included for generators on deep caves. Lovely video, I'll definitely follow you to fame :)

Word to the wise... when building cave bases keep all your exterior walls facing outward. Your entrance walls were facing in allowing anyone to softside in. Always love a good cave base especially THAT one. I've only had one raid attempt on me in years and I had the heartbeat sensor send me an alert and i was able to defend.

always always make cave base with a foundation placed in a way to place a solid wall that can be opened with a roof from the inside then the door is after the closable bunker then place a shotty trap under the twig roof that keeps the wall open so when someone jumps in they get killed and trapped at the same time closing the bunker. since its one wall having a day 1 hqm wall on wipe day stops any early raid

Crazy, Im playing a wipe in this cave right now lol, I have a windmill setup for my electricity, also I used a self sealing wall with roof twig and shotgun traps to close up the entrance.
