i think you should incorporate the cinematics for more story-based battles, like rescue missions and multi-part series, but one-off "just for fun" battles should have the setup.

I had a dream that I was in a nomadic Mandalorian army traveling from one planet to another. This was set in The Age Of The Empire during the dream without being in the Disney version of Star Wars. The Mandalorians mostly had dark gray colors blended with other colors on their armor. Most of these Mandalorians have red or blue or green mixed with grey. They were in the hundreds of thousands in this army. They were neutral in the Rebellion Against The Empire and didn't care about which side the Empire, The Rebels, Separatist Holdouts was fighting for because Mandalore was fully independent from all sides. Instead they fought criminal gangs, the hutts and tyrants outside of the Empire, Rebellion and the Separatist Holdouts. In one depopulated world filled with hills, mountains 🏔️ 🌄, white clouds and rivers Mandalorians were fighting a Hutt gang. The Mandalorians won with minimum casualties all of the gangsters were killed. However they were secretly watched by the Empire, Rebels, Hutt factions and the Separatist Holdouts from the shadows. I remember being part of a large group of preteens ages 10-13 fighting with other young Mandalorians to increase our rank and role in this army. My squad increased our rank and role by fighting droids, adults not Mandalorian with non-killing weapons and placing a flag over the fort. The other young Mandalorians have to start over again to increase their role or have to study military tactics and how to get military ranks. That was one of the best dreams of my life.

As a Veteran Paratrooper (Airborne Infantry for those that don't know) to use my knowledge to make maps/missions.
