Love the video. Two questions. How do you store things like a 60 lb wing that don’t seem to have a hanging hook. Drysuit hang or in bag? Thanks.

Thanks for the comment! I hang my drysuit for now since I use it often enough, but I’d store it very long term perhaps in a bag to keep the seals from being exposed too much. It’s a tough call. For the wing, I’d have to see it. Mine has holes for where I’d attach it to my plate, so I’d probably just use a long hook (like what I have my instructor slates on). Would need to think about it some but I think there are options!

Look, it's @iamhughes! I wouldn't have thought that the KZbin algorithm would get me to see you again. All the best with your channel!

See I like this idea but I live in Las Vegas and the humidity in my garage is very bad year round, like 20 percent because its exposed to the outside air with ventilation for carbon monoxide. I'm cautious on storing my dive gear in my garage because of cracking and who knows what else, super hot in the summers and super cold in the winters (120° peak and 26° at the lows). I'm a South Florida Miami native so I'm still getting used to the dryness. Right now I just store everything layed out in my closet in my house having the humidifiers keeping it around 40-50 percent but its not very space efficient, stuff is just lying on the floor and too packed for a dive bag. What are your thoughts on humidity and critical gear like a Wing and rubber hoses? What would you recommend for my setup? Was considering utilizing my closet clothes racks for my gear and just hanging them and using cabinetry to keep the other gear indoors. Kind of a niche DIY, for my Shearwater transmitter, I got a small 3 inch hose coming from the 1st stage to the transmitter and got a pool noodle and cut an inlay so the transmitter stays nested nicely in line with the hose and its protected while traveling or storing. DIY is awesome just gotta have right implementation!

In Vegas with it being so hot, I’d try not to keep things in the heat. I’d probably find a closet inside if I had any possible way 😬 I do love DIY too!

Looks awesome! Do you use a special hanger for your drysuit?
@CircleHScuba4 ай бұрын
I do, a wider shoulder one. Like this: amzn.to/46J51DZ

@@CircleHScuba same as me... Well, almost. Mine is the one with the fan 12v for drying it out.

How do you store lead?
@CircleHScuba22 күн бұрын
I have a weight bag and I actually just keep it in there. I own around 40 lbs of soft weights, and only 4 lbs of hard lead. For me it’s easier to just keep it all in the weight bag.

Thanks, who makes a good weight bag. I have both soft bags and solid lead. Thanks

@stevecoffey4884 I got mine at my local dive shop. It’s just an akona bag, nothing too fancy but durable, has drain holes, and has plenty of space for me to bring weights to the dive site when teaching, for example, in case students need a few kilos/lbs
