I'm loving the building style you have going. Never thought I'd like bamboo so much! As for your escaping villager, I had the same thing happen to me. It turned out to be a problem with bed placement. When villagers get out of bed, they try to get up at the foot of the bed. If that is obstructed, they attempt to stand at diagonals from the foot. I bet you have a bed on an angled wall where one of those diagonals is outside of the house. Just stay up one night and watch the villagers wake up. You should be able to catch that escaping villager red handed!

I personally think the bamboo shop name could be “Bamboozled!” Especially since it’s Halloween! The sugar cane shop could be “The Old Cane.” And not quite sure if you were looking for one for the bee’s, but that one could be named “The Hive.” If you were!

Both myself and my grandson have been enjoying this island seed. I've been collecting building materials mostly and have two full double chests of all the wood logs, stones and white concrete. I always like to build a lava farm, infinite dirt and mud farm and a clay farm at the start. They're manual to begin with, but I'll automate them eventually.

For a bamboo store/factory, could call it something like "The Green Shoots" "Bamboo Delight" or "The Bamboo Grove", a sugar cane farm could be named "The Sugar Farm", "Cane Maker", and a bee farm could be "Honey Cove", "Busy & Buzzing"

I've actually cobbled together an semi-automatic mud farm. The bottles refill automatically, then move to the mud farm part to go into a chest minecart to refill the dispensers, that make the mud. The only issue is have to remove the mud and replace the dirt by hand. However, put a bumper behind you and it is quite easy and quick to shovel up the mud then place the dirt. I put a pressure place in front of the bumper to trigger the machine to make the mud before shoveling it up again. So just go forward and back and can quickly make what you need. Don't have it on KZbin, and the machine is frankenstien'd from various ideas from others, that I modified to work together. Looking forward to see what you come up with.

I always look forward to watching them ❤ About the escaping villager, i dont know if its the same on Java, but on Bedrock, if a villager bed is in a certain positon against a wall, the villager will spawn on the other side of the wall when morning comes! Sausage, heres a little tip. When you're making sugarcane farms, you can just use normal hoppers by planting sugarcane on mud because mud isnt a full block. Hope this helps!

You could add a cauldron with water and maybe a torchflower patch to Rosie’s temporary pen! (I say torchflowers because that’s what they’re bred with, but a rose patch could be super cute too!)

I just love your builds. They're always beautiful and all them together is an atmosphere. Lovely. You know, you could use mud for your bamboo and sugar cane farms. Since it isn't a full block , you wouldn't need the minecarts or rails, just hoppers and a chest at the end.

Hey, if you're gonna have these farms be shops, maybe you could have an appropriate villager inside, like stick trader for bamboo, paper trade for sugarcane, etc. They can be the shopkeeper. The extended bits of the buildings can be the actual shopfront.

The first three auto farms I build actually depend on where I start in a world. There is always going to be a farm for food (usually wheat is the first crop). Although, this farm is usually only "automated" for harvesting the food; I replant by hand. Other than food, I tend to go with a wool farm, sugarcane farm, bamboo farm, lava farm (using dripstone and cauldrons), and a water source (tend to go with the dripstone and cauldron thing here as well).

For the bamboo collection. Place a comparator detecting the hopper, place a solid block infront of the comparator with a redstone torch in the back, place a solid block on top of the redstone torch. Facing back towards the hopper, place a repeater on top of the block the comparator is facing into, then a solid block on top of the comparator.

Not that long ago I started using a different design for those kind of farms. Instead of needing a whole lot of observers, I'm using daylight detectors as the trigger (yes they still exist in the game). This enables me to get rid of an infinetely running collection minecart and instead wire a bit more redstone so it only goes on a collecting trip when the farm triggers (at dawn or dusk). This removes lag and noise from the area, and is more optimal, which pleases me greatly.
