I also think i know why it happened. If u watch in slowmo, the launcher actually getting spun really fast in the other direction by the cow hitting it, and the game didn't register it until it launched forward a bit, then it combined the physics so it when upwards.

Well done holmes:) Is it possible to put a timer on a spud gun to pop the bot capsule after its been launched? So you could launch a projectile made of a capsule, a timer and a spud gun. Then have the capsule pop open just before it hits the ground, or over the enemy base, where it drops the bots like paratroopers. Build a fort with walls and try to drop haybots into it from above:)

Yep, but each capsule would need to be rigged with the timer and spudgun. When the capsule pops, the timer etc would just fall off.

@@tempestrage257 Yup, cuz the timer and spudgun are only there to pop the capsule, nothing more. So it doesn't matter if they just fall off:) If your releasing tape bots, red or blue, they come armed already lol.

7:29 this cow flies backwards because of "gear effect" your contraption spins forward so fast that cow spins in opposite direction when touches it, counteracting initial speed vector when launched saving all the speed from contraption.

The classical physics analogy is to assume a spherical cow... and it's almost... all hitboxes in the game are probably pill shapes as engine default, cylinders with hemispherical ends. When you crouch it just shortens the cylinder, when you ragdoll you are probably a sphere. Being wide and short the cows may even be always spherical. Whilst it looked like you were trying to add whole layers of blocks to squeeze the cow in, it very much looked like you could have taken the corners in a few blocks.

Something I think might be true about SM hitboxes is that all entities have 3 hitboxes, a damage hitbox, a physics hitbox, and a ragdoll hitbox. Or it might just be a healthy serving of code spaghetti.
