For people wondering: why are Windmills in farms? - in the netherlands we have a lot of flat land below see level. It is full of nutrients and can be used for farming very well. Unfortunatly if you would just leave it like a normal farm the water would rise true the ground up and flood the farm and drown the crops. To avoid this you need to pump out the water. Windmills can transform wind into energy that can be used for anything so also for grain milling and water pumping. The farms stay above water and the crops can be prosessed for use by factories to make products for consumers. Now you know. At see side windmills are mostly used for sawing wood into planks for ships, harbers and houses.

In case you were curious, the windmills were for milling wheat. They turned a massive flat stone to grind the wheat into flour so it could be used. Since irl we have to grind wheat to make bread and cookies and stuff

windmills are usually in farms because there, it doesnt annoy anyone living nearby, plus, windmills were used to grind wheat into flour for bread, pancakes, pastries,.... so it needed to be close to the wheat to grind since trasportation wasn’t the greatest back then... anyways, love your vids!
