Hey, I saw you do courses on financial modeling - question for you, how do you feel about software's like Fathom for modeling as opposed to Excel? Fathom imports the COA automatically and let's you set different scenarios and will auto-update all financials for you based on the input. Is there an advantage to Excel over the simplicity of Fathom?

I haven't ever used Fathom, but have a lot of respect for what they built. We are familiar with their tool because we have a similar tool (Model Wiz) My philosophy is that all tools should work with Excel and complement it rather than trying to replace it. Because what's beautiful about excel is the fact that so many people know how to use it, and you'll always want that transparency + ease of customization. I'm betting Excel wins the long race!
