With the way movies are made, it's perfectly within reason that the "rescue" part of the scene was shot on another day, or that there was a scheduling conflict with the actors, or that a stunt double was involved. I do also know that there are scenes with Doctor Strange where they had to shoot the actors in completely different locations because of covid and let CGI put them back in the same place for the final cut. That being said, yes, there are certainly other implications in how Tom responded to the question. Especially given his previous "spoiler" reputation. 😆

It’s also very likely they just used the stunt double. Even if it is Garfield’s Peter who saves her, there still may not even have been Garfield there. There’s been a lot of stunt scenes where Spider-Man is in the suit, where Holland isn’t even on set.

Two things in this video confirm, IMO that we will see Tobey and Andrew in the movie: 1. Zendaya's face expression to Tom saying that Tobey & Andrew are not going to be in this movie. 2. When Tom was asked what was in his mind when watching that sequence at 04:27, notice how Zendaya steps in to save the day because she saw that Tom did not know what to say and he was looking at her the whole time, rolling with it and hoping that we won't notice that he kinda dodged the answer? Yeah... If that doesn't confirm it, I don't know what else could...
