He is really good, but there are A LOT of people who play guitar. More than we will ever realize especially if you count all the studio players in a big hub like LA or Nashville. I have known some people I grew up with that “made it” with major label acts (one guitarist that’s more of a song writer rest are drummers). It’s really just as much about image and connections than actual talent. It’s not always about who plays the best… unfortunately. If that were the case the industry would be a lot different, as would be the more famous acts. I always was terrible at networking personally- and every band I was never focused the way I was. I can see why this guy plays alone honestly prob had similar experiences. What I find most impressive here is the depth of the repertoire. It takes a lot to know this many songs all at once. Most bands only do one set list at a time- he is playing different music every time that’s really extraordinary.

@@joemay7888 I read about these guys with problems and it’s always from too much tension, too much wrist, too much elbow, too much alternate picking, It’s certainly not from overplaying. I did 4-5 hour high intensity shows on a daily basis for six months straight. My body was exhausted, but not my hands. Robben Ford is another one. He was on magnet therapy for a long time. Strapped magnets to his wrists. bizarre. By the way, that over the top of the neck playing I’m doing there is complete bullshit, just a visual trick to catch attention. I also play solos one handed. You know what? It makes no difference to the public. They still ignore me. Maybe if I played with my feet, that MIGHT get attention.

Well buddy, if ever the time comes when we can TRAVEL again (??!!) - come to Amsterdam and play for us. We Dutch cheeseheads know a mean guitar player when we hear one. You make that thing sing.

you got it. I love Amsterdam. It was my first European stop when I left Vancouver in 1991 with one way ticket and cycled Europe for six months. didn’t come back to Canada for two years.

whoa! :-0. damn that is some mighty fine playing. WRT the apathetic public - this is a two fold problem. 1) in today's world most ppl are too wrapped up in themselves and their own lives to even look up or look around them. consequently they will not recognise some thing outstanding / extraordinary even when it's right in front of them 2) a similar thing happened when classical violinist , joshua bell (whom I personally do not rate as top tier) payed the washington subway - no one noticed nor gave a damn

@@shatnershairpiece -Keep it going. A veritable street Concert, by Any definition. You are very talented and it would be a loss to the world for you to go silent. Those people walking past are not shutting you out. They are being penetrated completely through by your style. They only appear to be ignoring. Sound waves you are emitting, frequencies beyond the capability of the human ear, permeate every living cell in their bodies, accumulating in the Soul. You, sir, are like a mega storage battery, blessed with the gift of shear musical power, to feed a silence starving world ;}
