I Burned Out

This video has some sensitive content in it. This was an extremely difficult topic to cover but I wanted to explain why I was gone for 7 years before moving forward with any other character analyses or whatever else. It's not about just KZbin stuff.
This was also my very first attempt at recording footage of myself drawing anything (or in this case, crosshatching). Hoping to figure out better setups/approaches to recording if I make any more art process related videos.

Well you just got 100% more relatable. As a person who also suffers for anxiety and depression. Way more anxiety then depression, so I and most of your viewers understand. Thought it was hard, it is nice to have an answer. P.S. Your videos really helped me get though collage, and I thank you for it.

You'll get there and do even better than that! I've been learning and practicing how to draw cartoony looking art for over 10 years. It takes awhile to figure out what helps improve/strengthen certain parts of your art, what kinds of practice help improve the specific things you want to improve, and seeing the results you'd like. Seriously, I hope you keep working at your craft. Hopefully, you'll get where you want to go!

@@romancescrooge7846 Thanks for the uplift! I've been feeling pretty annoyed. I realize learning a skill like this takes time. What i didn't account for was the art tutorials and how contradictory they can be.

@@t.r2603 Duchess Celestia made a video touching on the wide variety of art tutorials floating around and how to try and navigate all of that: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m6bMpa1uiJJsi7s She's a self-taught artist that covers a wide variety of art related topics; some of her videos are about selling/starting commissions, art tropes, etc. She doesn't make technical tutorials, but I'm hoping this might help since her art learning journey sounds similar to where you might be at.
