Dang looks dope. Hard to get something like this the way you want it. Some of these kids come in with longer hair and dont want to cut much off the top and a complicated compressed low fade it’s tricky to make it look good and match the top
@harry99373 жыл бұрын
Cutting white guys curly hair is arguably more difficult than black guys hair. It's severely disobedient and changes by the second but this looks really good man... Definitely a hard request! 👏

Hey Sean just some advice future purposes regarding this haircut, hair texture. Start with longer guards from the parietal ridge and work the clipper guard in a downward direction until desired length is achieved. Do the fade in a regular manner, saturate the top run a wide tooth hair brush through the top to detangle the hair so combing section guides for shear work will be effortless.

Sean BROTHA! It's Primo tha Barber from Tomb 45 academy! Which I love by the way. I love asking questions and getting live feedback. All the instructors and aspiring Barbers are SUPER personable. My Question to you. A lot like your client in the video. I reside in a caucasian dominant area. The clients in my area have lighter hair lines and because of the difficulty in enhancing a lighter area, as you know is not forgiving at ALL! That keeps me from using my investment. My biggest fear is not being able to blend any OBVIOUS enhancement dark spots and my client leaving looking like he got his hair cut at the Home Depot with a wet color brush. Beam only be flexing the onyx on the brothas! I hope I see him in Orlando, Imma tell him to lol I appreciate your detail content. Hope to see you in Orlando and any pointers are welcomed! Great Cut by the way. Difficult too!

Bro just use the black brown and spray it super light. Only hit it once and then pull back and check how it looks. Can always keep layering until it’s as dark as you want it 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
@erickrodriguez11503 жыл бұрын
@@Seancutshair that's what's up! I'mma try that out! I thought I had to mix it or dilute it. It looks intimidating when I see it in the cylinder and it looks way darker than where I'm going to apply it. I'mma try it from a distance and start slow! Thanks brotha! Stay black! ✊🏾

I don’t know if this will help you but the way I do a low drop fade is instead of making an open blade guideline above the skin line I make a 1 guard closed guideline, about an inch or so. Then I do my open blade underneath the 1 and blend down to skin. Then I start at the ridge and blend down again until I’m back down to my 1 guard again and use the 1/2 guard to smooth out the transition from the open blade to the 1.

Yo Sean, when making the block graduation, do you pull the hair straight out or pull it either up or down a bit ? I haven’t used the technique to much since I just started cutting several months ago. But the cut came out fire bro 👊🏽
@Seancutshair2 жыл бұрын
You pull it down into the side. The length on the side the clipper will feed into. The layer on top will connect to the length on the top of the head

I'd like this exact cut to go over and get into details..since am plan ning to grow out my hair. And moments ago I was planning to cut my hair. But usually see people use a 2. And the top chop some off. But from this video alone and experience. This is someone difficult. Then your average 2 on top mid/highfade.. my kind of curly hair is thick. If I went down a 4 against the grain. It would look like a number 2 on top. But great work. And anyway to make a video on doing this on a self cut? Or explain more visually. Am more of a imagine and see how to do it then explaing.
@Seancutshair2 жыл бұрын

they cant all be winners💈 main thing is if he comes back or not, i remember a 1st time cut on a dude where i was sure i hacked em up and would never see em again, 3wks later hes back like "that was the best cut ive ever had, do it again" its the difference between the eyes of a barber and client👊🏼

Really tough Haircut but you did a good job. I think with 10 more mins detailing you would've been more satisfied. I would've approached it reverse fade to the 1 guard then made the bald line use the half guard then finish it off for a smother transition.

Definitely a harder haircut, personally one of my faves to do(not an would love to do this everyday but a couple times a week would be fine). Looks good bro, sometimes I use a trimmer over comb to get weight off at the very end if I see anything, the preciseness helps.
