I’ve had an issue with the A/C compressor not keeping coolant which I’ll fix this spring. Other than that, after two years of ownership and over a half dozen track events during which I drive hard, it’s been trouble free.

Great videos. Have you thought about purchasing a R 171 SLK 55 AMG instead? I know it is automatic, but the engine is something awesome. And what about a sl 63 amg 2009-2011? Too fancy perhaps? I am facing the same issues likewise, as I am inclined to buy a Merc instead of a Porsche as a track car.

Thanks Bruno. I like the engine in the 55, yes, but the 350 was plenty powerful for my track skill level and manual was a must for me. I was surprised that a Mercedes grew on me like it did!

Cool. Any way to lower the seat? Will you pass the broomstick test in that car?

Thanks! The seat goes lower than in the vid so I can pass the broomstick test. To do it with my helmet on, I have to rake the seat back.
