I live in a little town in the mountains of eastern Tennessee, and every Saturday, I go to a little Bluegrass/Country/Gospel Music jam session. Last night, the fella playing the banjo came in and sat down to listen to some music when someone recognized him and asked him to play. It was a true joy to hear his music.

I love this song and really enjoy his banjo playing and its sound. It seems to have typical tone from the vintage Gold Star banjo. I'm Japanese and was the most responsible person for the Gold Star GF-100 in late 1970s. I was 25 years old. I always wondered the mystery neck attached to his GF-100 because the original GF-100 FE had different peg head inlay design. He revealed it on other KZbin that it was Frank Neat custom neck attached with Gold Star inlay on peg head. It looks like old JD Crowe's Gibson RB-75 with RB-4 or Granada flying eagle inlay except with ebony instead of rose wood finger board. JD once told that the neck itself was also made from rose wood instead of mahogany. I continue to support this band.
