Thank you. In Florence Scovel Shinn's writings she said that there is a realm where all conditions are perfect. Jesus Christ called it the Kingdom. "Waking up to the truth, that there is no loss, lack or failure in the kingdom of reality-loss, lack and failure would disappear from your life. They come from your own vain imaginings." - from The Power of the Spoken Word.

Thank you, but with all due respect, Florence uses alot of negative words in her affirmations i.e. didn't, not, don't, etc. The subconscious processes positive words and live in the present moment. When you say not or don't, the subconscious reprocess it as you do or you will. It would be nice If you take out the negatives and add positive words instead of using Florence's full affirmations which defeats the purpose of the intention. Have a fantastic day!!!

Thank you. We did notice her use of the "not" in her affirmations now and again but the way she worded them do not seem to produce negative thoughts for us. Most of the time, her use of "not" doesn't come directly following the "I Am" (i.e. I am not X). However, we will be more cognizant of this should anyone else feel the same. Thanks again!

Yes for example There is no loss in Divine mind can always be rephrased as there us only gain Divine mind. But her wisdom is still relevant. We can always reword the affirmations to suit our needs. I have seen other teachers barring Louise Hay having negating words in their affirmations but they still have valuable messages

Thank you. We want to change as little as possible the wordings of the affirmations from these great teachers. They knew exactly what they wanted to convey and why and so we'd like to not stray too far away from their original intent. Prayers of denial can be very powerful and perhaps worth considering. There is a place and reason for them. Catherine Ponder wrote in her book, "The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity": "Many people cringe at the word "denial", believing that its only meaning is "to take away or withhold." But the word "deny" also means to "to dissolve, to erase or be free from, to refuse to accept as true or right that which is reported to be true." Prayers of denials are for the latter purpose - to refuse to accept as necessary, true, lasting, or right anything which is not satisfying or good." Prayers of denial are your "no" prayers. They help you to reject things as they are and to dissolve your negative thoughts about them. They help you to make way for something better. Prayers of denial help you to erase, to be free from less than the best in your life....So many people lead a pygmy existence of fear, compromise, and dissatisfaction, when they might be enjoying a life of gigantic good, if they only knew how to say "no" to the less-than-best in their experiences. It is good to follow up thoughts of what you don't want with what you do want; after claiming "No I will not accept this," you should add, "Yes, I will accept this or something better." Jesus was speaking of your "no" and "yes" powers when He said "Let your speech be yea, yea and nay, nay." (Matthew 5:37)." Don't be afraid to say "No, no, no!" to let the universe know that you've had enough - 'no' means 'no' and there's nothing lukewarm about it...then state your "yeses".
