" You're just a second choice!" Nothing else to say. Nothing to come back from.

Boring, predictable, and stable is what is needed, even rollercoasters have to go down.

The person that you married..is not the same person you see in divorce court.

"I didn't think he had it in him to leave." She thought he was weak and had no respect for him. Sam would have likely dumped her anyway after she wasn't being supported by another's resources.

Women seem to think that they can move from side-chick to only-chick, all they have to do is get rid of their husband. They are almost always wrong.

I had the same thing..I was trying to build a business and telling her it would not last forever. She couldn't wait..she cheated with someone from work. She said I was dragging her down, that she settled. Fifteen years later, she's got two side gigs with a regular job. She's always tired, always working. She hasn't remarried and neither have I. I have no desire to remarry or try again with her. Too much has happened, too much has been said and so on. As far as love, I have become somewhat of a skeptic. I occupy my time with hobbies and quiet contemplation.

My wife knows she was my second choice. My first choice and l broke up years before and l moved away. I had a psychotic break and needed help before I got my shit together again. About 6 months after I married my wife we unexpectedly ran into my ex. Its was like time stood still with my wife looking back and forth at us. Finally we chatted for a few minutes and parted. For the next few weeks I was in a fog again. Finally my wife in a scared voice asked what I wanted to do. I honored my vows and stayed. We had a business and raised children together. A good marriages isn't often flashy. It's those quiet times together knowing the other person will always be there. No one gets everything and if we told the truth we all compromised something.

Your husband should be predictable for you have a comfortable life but that bored her lol. And to be honest most females do get bored with predictable and can't handle it for what ever reason.

I never really thought about it bet it seems "love bombing" is a form of "maltreatment". Intent may be difficult to prove but the term itself kinda proves it's origins. Not really a part of the story but I found myself thinking about it during the story. 👍

I don't get going from female narrator telling stories, but this channel sucks anyway.
