Love the new channel! The batteries clearly aged way too fast. LiFePO4 batteries are supposed to last a long time. I wonder what Battleborn has to say about that.

Consider EG4 48 volt waterproof server rack batteries for next exchange. Having multiple bms batteries paralleled together is very problematic. Pluss they cost $1200 for 400 amp/hr , and 48volt batteries paralleled work wonderful. You will need a new inverter but that's only a grand as well and will charge faster than the 12 volt one , and optionally will accept 120volt and 220 volt universal power. Cheers and fair winds Steve h

Well done Brett. You have just proved to all of us that jobs always seem to take longer than expected (not just ours). I like your logical thinking in problem solving. You can't be an expert in all things but working through them systematically and carefully many projects can be very successful and satisfying.

Hey! I like the way Brett constantly just work towards the solution without dropouts. He never lose it. Just solve the problem with what it takes. (To look at a problem like it’s a living thing is devastating and contagious. ) That’s not this guys thing. That’s what’s admirable. Many brothers lose temper... That’s something I learn not to do. Brett is a raw model in every situation. That’s his strength and trick to succeed. That’s how he became a pilot. He is a doer. Rock on 🤘

OK, just a quick word on the Ninja double oven. We live in a travel trailer and got tired of fighting with the gas oven. It was so small you couldn't even put a small cake pan in it, if you got it started. My wife decided to bite the bullet and try the ninja. We Love it!!! We use it just like a regular oven and so far it has beaten our expectations!!! Enjoy my friends, y'all did good!!

we have an OSTER TOASTER OVEN with the double doors.... it has a BUMP OUT BACK to fit a 16 inch pizza and it will fit a 9x13 baker if it is HANDLELESS well not flat outward streatching handles... ;) BUT IT FITS A 9x9 brownie pan with the PERFECK amount of space around it!@!! LOL Ninja's usually are good stuff tho too ;) we would have a NINJA blender if we didn't have a VITAMIX already ;0 sniker, VITAMIX THERE IS A DIFFERENCE !!!!! *I* was told to stay with the VITAMIX's with the 1 thru 10 dial and the HIGH/LO .... and PULSE switchs...... NOT THE ONES THAT HAVE ALL THE PRESETS but that was a few years ago they said the presets have issues before the basic 1 to 10 dial ones do ;) we got a 7 year warrentee that was doubled ... we didn't need to use it... still working GREAT !: )

Brett, the green stuff you saw on copper is essentially malachite (copper+co2+water). it is not like regular iron corrosion and only grows on places exposed to co2(usually regular air), no need to worry as much as iron corrosion for sealed copper.

Love the new channel, looking forward to your resolution of these problems. From the looks of your washer drain and your comment about the filter material, I see more projects ahead in the very near future. I'm looking forward to your investigation as to why the battery performance is so poor, even if you are taxing them with heavy use I would expect them to perform much better than they are. Your new electric oven seems like it will be a good fit, both physically as well as efficient use of power, a propane leak can be devastating, even more so on a boat at sea.

Hey Brett. Love this new channel, especially as we too are the proud owners of a 2008 Oceanis50 (based in Lefkas, Greece). We have an automatic washing machine which we installed back in 2012. It’s never let us down (touch wood!) and I love it.

Hey Brett, often on modern electronic washing machines there will be a diagnostic mode you can put it in that will tell you what the problem is, or at least it might put you on the right track. If you can't get hold of the service manual maybe the manufacturer can give you some information on how to read diagnostic codes. Seeing the amount of charcoal in the drain I'd say there is a high chance one or both of the input values may be blocked, it might be worth checking first.

Hi 👋, Brett , That was a great start to your Engineering shop, Adventure, in your water supply, I presume you’ve got charcoal filters, is it possible they are degrading, And your water purification system is not working correctly, As I presume you’re taking water from the sea and going through purifier, a friend of mine in the UK, brought a ninja air cooking device last year, and they very rarely use their main oven, they cook 24 seven using the ninja, they swear by it, a great bit of kit, I am thinking of approaching scene one myself, hopefully in a few weeks time as I live by myself, Please be very careful choosing your batteries, people say that lithium batteries are not dangerous, but they are, There is a company called Port 32, and there is quite a few others, all given relative good information about these type of batteries, Concern about insurance , I think I noticed somebody else passing comment, that the batteries had to be installed by a professional, I’m not saying you’re not a professional, but it might be worth enquiring before you go and do the job, And there has been a huge amount of vehicles catching fire, worth having a look on KZbin if you know what that program is😂, stay safe keep up the great work very very interesting,

Wow, the first boat to have more capacity than I do hear at home. Reason for that is I built my batteries from the Blue Cell Packs. 1300 amp hours at 12v ( 15,600 watt hours) One of the problems with the US type tanks is that they have an O ring just inside the fitting where you connect your hose. That O ring can crack, or just somehow dissapear, and that tank will leak at the fitting. If your like me you'll think its something to do with the threads on the hose to the tank, or who knows what, until you look in there and notice the O ring (first you have to understand it needs one) is missing. O rings require maintenance, they need a coating of silicone grease so they stay "fat" and pliable, and so that they will allow things to slide by them, and so they will seal. I wouldn't be surprised that Euro tanks type fittings need o rings, and the older US tanks probably do.
