@@hair-buddha it was not only the sentence, but the tone… she was already bored with the fact she „had to watch“ three whole videos about the subject… I will never get this „I can do this too“ mentality, when it comes to professional work, like the ones of a hairdresser… here in Austria it is a three year education till you can work solo in a Salon on a person…

I don't understand when people are so careless when bleaching their hair. I don't. Do they even realize what bleach is? IT'S A VERY STRONG CHEMICAL. And also, for the love of god, you want pink hair? Take a coloring pencil, just a simple coloring pencil, paint the paper orange and then put the pink on top. That's how your hair will turn out.

I have been a hair dye addict since I was 12 and have been almost every color between bleach blonde to black. It is fun to change it up but I have fried and damaged my hair so many times doing stuff like this. I have gotten to point where I am sick of always having short hair over the years due to damage. I have backed off and much happier when I am not constantly changing it. I really enjoy this channel because it is the cold harsh reality of boxed hair dye gone wrong.

I cut my own hair. I'm not a professional, but I wouldn't do the ponytail nonsense. I've hung upside down and had my husband cut a straight line, then fixed the bottom layer. I've also parted my hair down the middle and trimmed it from the front but never had those messed up lines.

😂 love this channel, my mom owned a salon and she was the only person to cut my hair for 30 years, she passed away 2 years ago I wish she would have seen this channel because she would have binge watched it, for the last 2 years I been cutting my hair myself, clippers with a 2 guard all over an, luckily I have a pretty much perfect hair line so I can edge it myself until I get to the back off my head and I’ll have a friend do my neck line, I just don’t trust anyone besides her to cut it, I used to always get a fade from her #3 #2 #1 so a 2 all over isn’t much different lol

The oonytail technique, if you sexrion in 4-6 small sections, do not pull the hair forward. Tie it where the hair lays naturally. Ive dont rhis and it came out great. There is even a texhniwue ro allow tou to add layers. It really does work. Check out bead mondos step by step to cut at home 😊

I love your videos. Love your commentary. I’m sorry to say… I did the “ponytail technique,” and it worked for me. 😣 BUT I was only trying to take some length off. My hair was down to my butt and it was so heavy that it was hurting my neck. I didn’t over-direct the hair, I let it fall naturally and then put elastics about 6 inches up. Then 2 inches below that I put elastics where I wanted to cut. The top elastics kept the hair from moving when I brought pieces together to make sure they were even. I constantly brought pieces together, but I did make the back *slightly* longer intentionally, since that’s how it had grown out naturally. It worked for me, but, like I said, I was trying to just get rid of some length until I can get to a salon. (And I’m in the middle of multiple processes to get my platinum back and that hair would have made me quit.) I don’t think I would try to make a drastic, noticeable cut though. And I definitely wouldn’t use poultry scissors.

I'm a dedicated Rainbow Research Mahogany henna for 9 years, never used any chemicals, never dry my hair with a dryer, no styling tools besides brush and comb, not even hairspray anymore. I do my own trim like, 2-3 times a year though, but no one notices because it's so long. I still find it interesting what people will do. Kind of answers some questions about a few past coworkers though, and why the gal who was into pastels had the worst looking hair I've ever seen.

I have natural dark blond hair, usually short, and even in my case i usually need to bleach it twice to achive platinum, white or gray hair (party because I have sensitive skin, use 20 volume and don't keep it longer than 20 minutes, under foil cap). But I know that, I'm fine with being yellow for a couple of days to give my scalp a rest, and the end results are good to great. To think that you can make your very dark hair white in one sitting, at home, with one pack of bleach, is beyond me. Especially when you have thousends of videos showing that it simply can not happen.

Actually I think Pink is quite an easy color when you’re not light/white enough. For a pink you totally dont need to be white. Yellow yes. dark yellow, maybe when going for a dark pink and add some extra blue. White is just when you wanna go pastel pink. When light orange it can still turn rose pink/gold. Tho this was next level dark orange haha
