This fits very well gkdkgkf i do feel bad for Eridan somewhat, during their adventure he did have the initiative to talk with other people normally, but he got chut doen because of how much of a creep he was normally and then after enough thing piled up he snapped that being said i think making fun of him is incredibly funny and that last segment was gold

The fact that Vriska has killed double the people Eridan ever did, molested Tavros and almost got everyone killed by trying to fight Bec Noir just like Eridan did with his stupid plan, but somehow she's more deserving of Redemption than the one who by all means should've got it is beyond hypocritical. At least Eridan understood the meaning of consent. And of course, I don't trust the chick that used him just to feed her world-ending lusus to actually get to truly understand nor help him be any better. Dude didn't want to hang around her and Sollux so he fucked off to be on his own, until he eventually cracked and literally nobody noticed. I guess being groomed by a tyrannical and violent society where killing and racism is expected, yet still growing up hating water and only going out of your way to kill people just to stop a world-ending beasts from killing the planet somehow doesn't sound like a perfect fit for a Redemption Arc. Every attempt of his at Genocide was half-assed and even though he was supposed to hate land-wellers those were the only people he ever made friends with, maybe except Feferi. Dude deserved better than Vriska, at least as Erisol Eridan wanted to apologize for the shit he did.
