• Article 164, Constitution of India 1950: ⁠Provided that in the States of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Orissa, there shall be a Minister in charge of tribal welfare who may in addition be in charge of the welfare of the Scheduled Castes and backward classes or any other work. • Odisha has the highest number of PVTGs in India while no PVTGs are found in the states of Punjab and Haryana. • In the union budget of FY 2023-24, it is announced to launch a mission to eliminate sickle cell anemia by 2047. • Part 16 (Article 330 to 342) deals with special provisions to certain Classes.

Kuruba community is havingtwo chief terms and it's politically dominant and amassed all economic opportunities in the name of ahinda. It's futile for kuruba community to acquire st status

There are many tribal groups in the state which have all the qualifications to be included in the st list but they don't have enough population to raise their voice. Consequently they have beem incurring injustice since independence. Why don't you raise your voice for them.

@@Forever_Kannadiga-2026 Kuruba community is one of the dominant community in the state. It's grievances heard very fast. Take the example of kadugolla community which has not even an mla or MP. They are fighting for justice from decades and no one cares them. Being an educated indian u shd care for the other downtrodden communities who don't have voice and not your own community which had become politically dominant in the name of ahinda.

According to Article 164, States should have appoint Tribal ministers for the welfare of the society. Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Odisha has this provision.
