(Seriously though, this took forever to pull off. Especially TWICE. But I've now convinced myself I can no-hit ANY boss in the franchise after pulling this off.)

Model x has the double charge shot, which makes it the highest damage model in the game.

It's also fairly risky go for a hit with the saber (even charged) against Omega since his saber's hit box is kinda silly and reaches out surprisingly far. I went for as many saber hits as I could get during this attempt but I only managed to no hit him because I chose to take a few risks as possible, hence why I still favored the buster.

It's not as hard as it seems once you realize that Omega can be baited into performing his time consuming triple attacks in one direction from specific ranges. I used to keep a save just to beat on Omega in MMZX for funsies.

I remember finding this guy "Omega" way back when this game was new, despite being a huge fan of the original and X's stories I had no idea who this guy was ("sure he is associated with Zero" I thought, but that was it) it was early in the game and I was weak but had found no other means to progress so it was trough this guy or nothing (or so I thought) Many times I wanted to turn back as he whipped my butt over to the game over screen endless times, but finally I got him! The rest of the game was a breeze after this one, even the final bosses were a huge yawn

Genuine question here. How did you find Omega "early in the game"? You can only get to Area N by going through Area M, and by the point you unlock that you're at the second-to-last mission in the entire game. Did you cheese your way into Area N or something?

​@@omegasonic2000 All I remember was that I took the "progress mechanics" really far, so far that I found no way "home" to where the game was meant to be, but since I did none of that on purpose I assumed Omega was the only way to go, despite the fact that he was a billion times harder than anything I had met before... But it could not be could it? (My conflicted thoughts back then justify my long comment here) And yes even though this was literally decades ago, I remember having to cheese my way back into the main game, so I might have gotten there by finding an exploit that was never meant to be found, given that the game requires some thought just to reach the next area I don't know what to tell you, that's my only experience with Mega Man ZX, I didn't like Advent so despite being a big fan of all but Mega Man Zero I don't really have a comparison to make

@@YuckFouTubeX That's fair, I was just curious. If it helps, I also made the same mistake as you- I also thought Area N was the way to the next mission, because I accidentally skipped the dialogue saying that Area O was approachable through Area D.

I was never actually able to make it to them due to just how bad X challenge is... Don't get me wrong, some boss parings were cool and more or less complemented each other, but I hated how X challenge was designed and found most of the bosses to be just bad and impossible to no hit without some of the most god-like RNG one could ask for at the very least, which in the end I just found not fun.. I'd give your suggestion a shot if I were able to fight them though.

Just to know, is there really a Difference in using model ZX and model X?

Model X is ranged attacks only, (no saber) and the two charged shots it can fire do a surprising amount of damage. Model ZX on the other hand is more melee focused with it's saber, and it's buster shot isn't quite as good as model X's. (On top of having no double charged shot) In other words, Model X makes this fight considerably easier since you can just keep running from Omega. Meanwhile Model ZX forces you to get closer to damage Omega due to the saber being your main method of damage dealing.

Btw how did you get model x in the rest of the game?

When you clear a file for the first time you unlock a sort of "new game+" where all of your upgrades carry over and you're able to keep Model X instead of losing it.

Its hard to avoid getting cornered. Even in the original fight in Z3 the foot parts are almost required to get by him, whether that was double jump or shadow dash, and sometimes he'd still catch you

Probably not since I never actually played the Battle Network games. That was the one series younger me couldn't get into. Been meaning to give the series another chance though. So I'll get back to you on that... Eventually. (Currently pre-occupied with wrapping up recording for my ongoing let's play at the moment)

@@AgentSoundWave the games aren't that long Rn i'm playing the third one Was introduced to the saga with the fifth one when I bought it for 5 euros (basically free considering how good the game was) and for years I wanted to play the rest Last year I downloaded and beat the first (had to use gameshark on one boss because damn it was hard) Then the day before yesterday i beat the second after a long rest from the saga, and now I'm kinda still going, had to restart the story bc my save file said goodbye after putting cheat codes (i was stuck in a boss fight) but now ima just be immortal until i get back there and then I'll just let the inf money cheat on bc, tbh, the upgrades are very expensive and it's hard to grind, and because I'm already a seasoned player (managed to beat the final boss in the fifth game with 1 hp from beginning to end, no joke, i was a pro using the mechanics) i just wanna know the plot more Because after battle network I'm going to star force (which is in the same timeline, is basically the X version of battle network, and I LOVE that)

Megaman ZX. This is an end game area known as Area Zero. If you connect with the zero games you get optional boss rematches with older bosses from Megaman Zero and you can also fight omega.

Usually due to bad voice direction, but in this game you actually get to choose your character's gender. As you can see I went the female route for the playthrough where I decided to no-hit Omega.
