I can play C'THUN WARRIOR again?? I missed this!

I think C'Thun Warrior is my all time favorite Hearthstone deck, and I can actually play it and win thanks to the latest season of Twist format and a few select upgrades from the Caverns of Time set.

While not a deck I played, I can relate because I have very fond memories of C'Thun Priest with the Priest card that would buff C'Thun (Hooded Acolyte) if you healed minions where you would have a Pyromancer + Cleric + Acolyte to have a turn where you super buffed your C'Thun. Thanks for the trip down memory lane, Regis!

C'Thun Control Warrior was one of my all-time favorite decks. Along with Majordomo Mage, Echo Giants Mage, Malylock, Oil Rogue and Spell Hunter.

Ah back when I used to enjoy HS. Control warrior with Justicar is one of my favorite decks. I love this deck too and played a ton of it. I don’t even play/watch HS anymore. But this video brought back memories.

I have had a lot of fun with this mode and I don't even have nostalgia for it. I started playing hearthstone like a year or two after this era, I kind of hope twist has some more fun and interesting modes on this level in the future

back in the era of Witchwood right after the first shudderwock nerf the short era of Control Hagatha shaman was by far my favorite deck. Trying to walk the fine line of having enough minions for Hagatha to get you enough value and finding the right time for that shudder value bomb especially in the mirror was nice.

The first deck I took to legend was evolve token shaman in un'goro. I loved the gameplay experience of reading my opponent's hand and deciding whether to go for immediate tempo with my cards or longer term pressure with my hero power depending on whether or not I thought the opponent had a board clear in hand. Unfortunately token shaman is unplayable in twist thanks to rogue. It was already a deck that ran out of cards quickly, so jade telegram is back-breaking, especially since it can put bloodlust back in the deck. Not to mention the fan of knives buff and jade swarmer buff making it hard to even get on board vs rogue. I was looking forward to playing nostalgic decks, but I was sorely disappointed by this twist format.

My absolutely fav combo was Brann + Veklor into mass evolve, 8-drops were ridiculous at that time. That one time I got three Ragnas and exploded my enemy was goated 😂

@regis Can you do a video with your feedback about Twist as a format? Pack duplicate protection ignores cards you previously own from wild, even if the cards are identical. Twist cards cannot be used in wild. Twist format will cycle in and out. I opened 30 packs and only "got" 2 epics and a few rares i didn't already own. My guaranteed legendary was identical to the one i already owned from wild. I can take wild into twist, but got copies #3 and #4 of cards before getting ones that are new. Feels bad, man.

I made a c'thun Odyn Warrior was a reliable deck. You have two win conditions, you have the minion who gives you 10 armor if your c'thun wasw 10/10 or more, i realy enjoied playing it. But twist meta is broken, so you can't have fun on high rank.

in my opinion twist is ruined by buffs and nee cards, the format would be better without them, a few bufds for cathuun and jade are justified but thats maybe 3 cards out of the 50 or so buffed, poeple love that there is no crazy manacheat, but to me you dont need manacheat if sprint is already 5 mana abd cthuun 8 ect ect

It's bittersweet to see this, considering I finally quit the game after being fed up with combo kills, infinite value, and a dev team that flatout went back on their word. Old Hearthstone, and the culture and people around, love em or hate em, were special, and I miss it dearly even with it's flaws like Freeze Mage and Wallet Warrior.
