in a way, i feel how she felt... i have an older brother who is, well, just like most big brothers are. my parents are pretty chill so he doesn’t hide his anger from me. he hits me, kicks me, abused me verbally as well.. just older brother things, right? he says the same things the older brother in this glmm says, like to my parents for example, “i wish you never had another kid” and “she’s just doing it for attention”. my parents say he’s just jealous because i get good grades and have a lot of friends.. which is obviously not true, i didn’t choose to have better grades and be likeable. he’s most of the reason of my depression, anxiety, and most of all social anxiety. i can’t talk to people at all because i’m afraid they’re judging me, i’m afraid i’m not enough for them and i always feel so stupid. he points out my worst insecurities like my voice, my hands, he tries to “fix” me, the way i dress, the way i act.. well, that’s the end of my rant hehe. if you’ve made it this far, thank you, and if you’re in the same situation, you’re not alone
