여기는 대구경북이라 서울만큼 커리큘럼 잘 되어있는곳 찾기 힘듭니다. 어플, 지역사이트 뒤져봐도 취미로 접근성 좋게 배울곳이 없어요. 시에서 일주일에 한두번 사물놀이나 국악 무료강습을 하기도 합니다만 직접 배워본바 한 타임당 참여인원도 너무 많고 수업의 질이 낮습니다. 대중성있는 분야가 아니다보니 배우고싶은 입장에선 진입장벽이 높은게 아쉽네요. 어쨌든 코멘트 감사합니다.

This song is about Korean tragedic history between 1950 and 1980. Due to the war, people suffered from hunger. A countless number of babies died. The protagonist of the song is a mom who has lost her baby. So she asks the sky (often referred to as God) 'what is this punishment for?' 'how could you do such a thing to a baby?' // Pansori is based on something called 'han 한.' There is not an equivalent word in English but it is similar to sorrow + anger. As Korea has been invaded often (for several thousands of years due to its geographical location) and experienced some tragedies (e.g, Japanese and Chinese invasions and Korean War), 한(han) was entrenched deep in our ancestors' hearts.

It is because you a feeling a very specific emotion in Korea we call Han. Han-a Korean feeling of sorrow, oppression, unavenged injustice, and isolation-is hard to truly explain. There really isn’t an American equivalent; and given the difference in our countries histories that’s not really surprising. But han is something just about every Korean knows and understands. To Koreans, han has a very complex meaning. So when translating the word, the context in which han is mentioned is important being that there is really is no one definition for it. It’s sorrow, regret, grief, resentment, a dull ache of the soul. Yet han is passive; not seeking revenge but instead waiting patiently and hoping that the injustice will be righted.

Island Dreamer They trained very talented singers intensely . They can sing hours in and out of very high note to very low note freely without having a single problem and many of them has very husky but be able to control their vocal very easily too. Top of that they can sing like rapping and storytelling while they are acting or little dancing too. I guess they thought all of these very long long time ago already. Isn’t it sounds like somewhat modern kpop? Not entirely of course but they sing, dance and rap right?

한... it’s because of Han... a korean emotion of a country that has long endured pain and loss and suffering. It’s a korean word that describes a feeling unique to korean culture only the soul can describe and words fail to define.

전남 보성에 판소리성지라는 곳에 일때문에 간적 있는데 진짜 어린애들 10살도 안되애들도 소리 쩌렁쩌렁하더라 국악이 참 나이 먹을수록 좋음
