I feel we tend to become too consumed by the fact we at times, mostly by the end of the day do, not smell as wonderful as we may like. All of us smell great getting out of the shower in the morning but regardless of who we are....by days end....we are going to be funky in certain areas. I think if we come to grips with this, we will all be better off.

My nose is lousy. If anyone bathes reasonably well, odor can be thrown to the wind. If a dog smell your bottom, you best go take a shower, male or female.

I used to get loads of infections like thrush and vaginosis. A doctor in the std clinic told me not to use soap down and use aqueous cream.instead. I took her advice and have had no problems since. I also use a spray bottle of water after peeing. That keeps me fresh and clean.

What's the best way to politely tell friends this info without making them so upset they'd try to unalive again? I have some who are extremely vulnerable from trauma and I want them to be healthy and safe, and not looked down on by others. As well as not need to clean the chair after they come over or have to hide my cringing. 😳😰 People need to understand this can come from severe depression and dexual abuse. I also know it's uncomfortable when it seems you're the only one who notices they need help. ☹️

You have to tell them. When people smell, it can take years for them to even notice. Just be as gentle as possible because if they hear it from someone else they may still want to unalive. Im sure they’d rather hear it from somebody close rather than a co worker.

I can add that in some cases it could be an ongoing BV or other infection that people struggle with. I’d see if they can go see a gynecologist together with me (for support, for example); and ask them if it’s time to get their annual check up. Perhaps, you can schedule back to back appointments :)Then, I’m sure the doctor will at least help to rule out any underlying infections. So I’d worry about that first.

First of all, vaginas and private areas can be stinky and it has nothing to do with sexual abuse. Sometimes it is just a lack of hygiene. When you are peeing all day with thick thighs, you have to make sure to wait until your vagina is completely dry before pulling up your underwear. If you rush the pee gets on your groin and that whole area smells bad. If you do not thoroughly wash vagina daily, then it accumulates and if you touch your vagina smell your fingers and you will see the nasty smell. I had a friend tell me I smelled bad, armpits not groin, and I wasn't offended though I generally was having a horrible time at home and wanted to die. I denied it, didn't notice and kept dancing. Personally, I wouldn't say anything if the only discomfort is my own but to each his own good friends definitely tell the truth. It also could be too that they lack underwear so are wearing the same ones continually. They will feel attacked because it's embarassing.
