In this case you can't narrow it down outside of being on the same general server he is, so apparently everyone online is just lined up in this massive server with the express purpose to troll him.

But it turned into something that everybody had been saying that it would turn into. A crutch, as you say. Some can argue that the game that the classic player is playing and at the modern player is playing is technically different due to the controls being different.
