You should trade Claxton for a good PG, so you can have Terrance Mann off bench. Doing this, you can also move Mikal to the 3, Cam Johnson to the 4, and Kat to the 5, as well as bring Cam Thomas off the bench and start him at the 2

I think if Clax still wants a trade by the deadline, go to Toronto and see what they got. we all see you got Siakam on your target list so if they don’t have a center then do a Clax for Siakam and work out picks and salary swaps. you could either do it before or after extending Claxton’s contract so if you can’t pull off the trade then you still got him solidified in your team

Cam Johnson is a 4. Should be a backup but I guess you like him to start him 🤷🏽‍♂️. Cam Thomas should be starting, with a defensive 1, a role player off the bench type package for Claxton might be alright

You can trade Clax for Anfernee Simons, give the blazers a rim protecting center at last and give them the ability to grow Sharpe. This way you get a great PG and send TMann back to his role which is coming off the bench and get KAT back to the C position which also frees up minutes for Jett Howard at the 4 and also for Cam Johnson.

kenny, the reason claxton might be upset is because he's not getting enough touches in simulation, whenever i played myGM and i tried to form a big 3, or a dynamic duo with a young rising star, the lowest overall of the 3 would get upset and demand either that i traded them or some other player from the big 3, so the logic with myLeague might be the same. currently you have a "big 3" of 87 ovr players, and claxton is the lesser one offensively, so 2k must think that he's not in a good situation and that's making him upset. i don't think trading claxton makes sense, like you said he's having a career year, he's a dpoy candidate AND he's about to get a bag, i would recommend you give him more touches, increasing his shot and touch tendencies or/and making him the second option on the team, doesn't make much sense but's that's 2k ig. the worst thing about that is that he might still be upset even with the upped tendencies and it was all for nothing and at that point you gotta sign and trade him next season

This isn't on you Kenny but 2k needs to fix the moral and having players getting mad and wanting to leave, the balancing is bad. I suggest trading for Poetil or Capela, they usually never get pissy. Vando, clax, Trey Murphy and sooooo many bigs especially get mad about "not getting enough usage"( play your role bro, defend and get the board), they need to add roles or badges that make guys know their lane. I would suggest adding the team player badge to Clax becuase that seems to help them from getting mad about their touches or just manually boost his moral to the level of the other players.

I think you either stand pat and just adjust the tendencies for touches and shots of how you want the team to play, or move Claxton and Man to find another solid piece and some draft capital. Start Sasser, as you just need a defending passing point. But also hits shots. The rest of the team is solid in the pocket. You could even move Jett up to the 4, slide Katt to the 5, then you can really see what you working with
