Peter is the kind of guy who doesn’t have the types of welds you seen on IG but he’s full of knowledge. He’s like your old shop teacher, that travels.

Htp and Peter are the perfect team. Excellent machines topped off with his overwhelming knowledge.

Hmmm i guess that peter guy could be good with any kind/brand of machine …. but since he designed that Revolution machine he probably should try it with that one as well ....

Peter is a great guy and him being hooked up with HTP to show what they can do is awesome. He has so much knowledge that’s stored like an encyclopedia that he’s not afraid to share. Glad to see you guys are hooked up and showing off all the new tricks on the channel

An old boat welder I know has two cans welded together with a three run fillet weld. The ends of the welds are not matched together so you can see each run. It sits in front of a sign that says "the only thing I can't weld is wood". I gave him two cans made of wood and joined with timber colored Silicon in a way that looked exactly like stacked dimes. He now says my daddy said I could do anything, so I did the impossible...!!

Fun fact: Wood can be friction welded. Don't ask for what that could bossibly be usefull but it can be done.

Im starting with a guoshi 140 115 amp mig welder. Ive owned it for 10 months. 3 weeks ago, I salvaged 3 metal boxes. 1/16th thick steel, probably thicker. I cut up the boxes, and I have over 100 feet of metal to practice with. Today was the 1st run. I didn't even know how to set up for MIG welding. I didn't get a spark for the 1st 15 min😅 so guess who knows how to set up his machine now😂. I also learned to tweek it. Low speed medium heat. It only has 2 dials. One for voltage and one for current. I used .03 wire, it went well made many mistakes and cant wait for another sunny day. Im doing it outdoors🏌♂️🌌

Zila is a very good welder. I’ve followed him for years. His channel never became very popular though.

Do it, with your 221 you have to light the arc on the filler rod not to burn a hole in the can ….

You should have that salty old dog Peter show you his Arc Welding trick. He makes it look easy but in the field it can be a damn life saver. Welding aluminum with an HTP doing it via stick. Trust me he knows his shit!!!!

Welcome to Tay tig welds, the part of the show where Tay welds tig.

Does this mean that the new company name will become "High Frequency Start Arc Studios"? And how about "a little more meat in the base of the can"...that deserves an honorable mention..! And "meat in the middle"...priceless innuendo. Have watched Zila a few times in the past when he showed up on Chucke2000's new channel in TX.

The only time I have had exposure to a TIG welder was in 83- the facility at the local airport just received a new Miller and I had a few minutes to play…….two coke cans were the expendable material. Success at the first try. So I can honestly say that I can do TIG? 😂

Bet momma’s proud of the $10k Miller now eh!

Now buy 2 fresh cans, weld them together with soda still inside, and bring it back to the store for a refund... And record the entire thing

I did this once. Some cans have a plastic liner. The smell was unreal. Never again.

@Kami87058 ай бұрын
Next time set it up to do with 2 full cans, from a distance, and watch them explode when the soda heats up. Or maybe it would be a heatsink?
@ZILAwelds8 ай бұрын
We thought of it. You cant get them warm enough … the fluid on the inside keeps the cold, they dont melt
@tano17478 ай бұрын
And this is how you measure the level of liquid propane in your propane tank... pour hot water over the outside, and feel the temperature of the tank afterwards (where the water ran down)... you will feel hot metal where there's only has inside, but as soon as you reach the level of the liquid propane, the tank becomes cool to the touch.

Yes, you made a nice weld, but this video gave me; nothing! I don´t know a shit more about welding a can, then I did before! What, how, and in what area of current, +/- values, etc, did you have? I have nothing to "write back home", about what I, learned. Get a grip and tell US, how to do it.

You're right, the entire first half of the video where Peter explains exactly how to set the machine up isn't helpful at all...
