This video was very helpful for me! I appreciate the in-depth look at why the figures are fake. I suspected the eevee one I bought was fake, and this confirms it! The lack of bubbles in the crystal on the top of the ball is a huge giveaway and will definitely make identifying real ones so much easier for me when I’m purchasing them. Thank you!

No worries at all, it's quite easy to mistaken the fake ones with real ones just from the packaging alone. Need to keep an eye out for the box print quality too!

@@bdnLch Do you happen to know if the bubbles are in the crystals for Series 1 of the eeveelution dreaming cases? I’ve looked at a lot of vaporeon, jolteon, and flareon ones but I can’t find any with bubbles. I’m not sure if this set didn’t have bubbles, or if I’m seeing a lot of fakes. Thank you so much if you can help me 🙏

I can't say I know for sure because I don't own any from series 1. I'm willing to bet they didn't change their manufacturing process to add bubbles in the one I showed in this video though. I think the best bet is to watch some unboxings of them from trusted sources just to be sure. I will probably look into getting the series 1 crates some time later this year once I go back to Japan.

they not fake because i tell you why is because if the box say brand re-ment but not for the fake one and also if you look at the bottom of the box if they copy the same image as the top than that fake

Yeah, those are counterfeit I preferred to pay 200 USD to have original ones from a former collector rather than giving money to counterfeiters The law prohibits them from marking "C-nintendo" under the Vee's pillow tho, it's quite easy to recognize counterfeit, their packaging boxes are also of poor quality

I wanted to test the waters with aliexpress so I'm not too surprised they're fakes. I'm always still bargain hunting at my local pop culture shop, hopefully they stock up on more rements soon!
