Won't happen unless he back-halves Ruby like they did Leroy. It just can't leave quick enough reliably on the IRS. In the 8 second range it dead hooks effortlessly. Every time they push 7s it starts eating parts or blowing the tires off.

@@leftyeh6495 I was gonna say, yeah, in the 8 second range, Ruby would dead hook every single time no matter who was driving her. Cleet, Jackstand, any of their friends. It didn't matter. @JoeShep71, I mean, it's impressive, but not as hard as you'd think. I built a front and rear 4 link in my driveway without even a lift, just a floor jack and some jack stands. Granted it was for a Jeep, but still. Find a few reference points and you are golden. If you are off a few 1/16's or so you can always crank the bars a bit to bring the wheelbase back to where it needs to be. I intentionally stretched my wheelbase by 6" in the front and 4.5-5" in the rear to try and get a better approach angle, help with stability, and decrease my anti-squat to 25% or so. The goals are obviously different for a racecar, but the concepts are very much the same.

Can't wait to see ruby back on track. :D The size of the aircooler and the position of the turbo made this car so incredible funny.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel the Timelapse music Cletus uses would be perfect for a video of a lumberjack just chopping at a tree. I mean I hope it’s not just me

How many times have we seen James put an engine in Ruby? Love it. Old school.

I've been waiting for Mullet's suspension upgrade. I'm surprised Cleetus didn't figure out how to detonate it. Good work, Ty.

The Cleeter crew is seriously so bad ass! Never ceases to impress me how solid everyone is!

This is the kind of realityshow we want, the real kind. not the fake drama, scribted content. this is why i love youtube. so many frking good content creators!

The insane work that Ty does is awesome. Fella is a really good fabricator. Props to him. And props to Zach for having the patience to deal with requiring an entire car. Dealing with such a pain in the ass thing as feeding and running wires I would lose my mind.

I love these kind of videos. Watching you guys wrenching on your cars, doing repairs, and upgrades. It is just as important as the races themselves. Keep doing what you are doing, brother.

Ty and Zack are both masters in their areas of expertise. It'd be great to see detailed videos just dedicated to their skills and craftmanship, and how they go about things! Big shout to them and all of the team! 🙂🙂😎😎❤

It's a miracle that Mullet's rear end survived all those passes, as well as street driving. I'm grateful you're safe, brother.

So glad that Ruby is making a come back... Would be an ideal time to refresh the shocks on Mullet... IMHO

Looks like a fair bit of stress in the old chassis, from the way it moved just after 8:10 when the bottom bar was cut!
@blatantpotato136710 ай бұрын
Just wanted to see if maybe anyone else noticed it or if it's just a camera movement, but when Ty cuts the rear right bar at 8:14, I see the side of the frame rail move a little bit, hopefully that's not a concern but if it is, better safe than sorry

These guys put cars back together almost as fast as they break them! Love seeing the shop work

I wish these videos were longer, it doesn’t have to have cleetus in it but I’d like some jackstand, tye, Zach, George content in the shop, their dynamic seems awesome and we could learn somethings
