One of these days, and no one will be entirely sure when, Justin is going to start playing that "rides again" theme tune but it won't stop after the first line. It'll continue into a second line, then a third, then there'll be a chorus and another verse, perhaps a musical interlude and it'll continue until he finishes singing the song. And it'll be the best thing we've ever heard.

Plz go back and spend time in Periphery IV. They have been great all along but really put it all together there. Deceptive time things within 4/4. Drummer Matt Halpern facilitates. You can't pull that shit off w/o a world class drummer. Spencer Sotelo melodic screamo higher than a lot of guys can sing at all, and breadth of style. Production is stellar. Guitar tones and riffs and solos fantastic. But the songwriting is deep. It's not just chops. Whole is more than the sum of the parts. I had IV on repeat for months and months. Just getting into V. My expectations are so high it will be awhile before I can hear it for what it is. This band is up there w anything in rock. Any genre.
