@17:25 Amber, there's a stud earring rolling around loose in the bottom of the box. I didn't read through comments, you may already have had dozens of people tell you this. I was yelling out to you but you didn't hear apparently. Oh gosh I hope it's still there. Good luck and thanks for the videos! This unit is my favorite and I'm so happy for the amazing things you've found so far and know you're going to find even more in there. You two deserve good fortune. So glad Steve didn't get hurt when boxes came tumbling down. 🙏💜

Steiff bears always have a rivet in one of the ears. The rivet will usually have the Steiff name engraved on it. The older Steiff bears are worth huge dollars...If the rivet is removed the value of the bear basically goes to zero dollars.
@Torighostgangsmells2 жыл бұрын
Actually there not zero dollars you just have to take it to someone to identify and then can tell if it’s an original and will pay for the steiff bear

That bear looks exactly like a couple I have seen them bring into the Antique Road Show and they were worth thousands. I think they were made in Germany but I could be mistaken. I don't believe they had tags on them either. You just have to have them looked at by an antique dealer or someone like that. I also think if you send in a photo of it to sites like the ARS or American pickers they will give you an idea if they think it is worth anything.

The Bear is called a Steiff Bear and is very collectible. I still have my Bear that my Grandmother gave me 55 years ago and I just turned 60. I would keep him. The values have been quite high over the years. The Hummel figurines are the lowest they've ever been but will go back up to several hundred dollars again each. We have some that patents bought when we lived in Germany, when I was a kid. They paid about 5 to 25.00 dollars then, went up to a few hundred dollars and are now back in the 20's.
