I Can't Believe They Gave Me This! BTD6 / Bloons TD 6. This is definitely one of the most bizarre and awkward monkey team combo you can possibly get... now what if we tried to beat CHIMPS mode with it as well?

I actually enjoyed playing with monkey teams when I first started playing, and one of the most frustrating things is when you back out of the game to not leak a bloon or something, and then realize the monkey teams refreshed so you won't get anything if you continue playing the game you were just on

Monkey Teams is honestly a great feature. It gives a very unique and interesting optional challenge that really freshens up the game. It's sort of in a similar vein to completing tiles in Contested Territory, except it's not a super committal gamemode that requires consistent attention so I'm actually able to play it. (On a related note, I would love a slower-paced alternative Contested Territory mode that doesn't require as frequent check-ins).

@@baranorak4080 No as in literally the same thing as base-game Contested Territory but instead of getting new tickets to play every day you get them every few days or even every week with other timers increased by the same amount to compensate for longer games that require less consistent time commitment to do well in.

I actually love odisseys because of the custom rounds option. For example this week's was a 1 round only but with every round inside it (so no eor cash nor back out the game). Cool stuff

I've played Monkey Teams (3 Random Monkeys, 1 Random Hero) basically since shortly after release of the game, because I just like Randomizers. I coded a small program in Java to do so (later created a small website for it which forces at least 1 tower that costs 650 or less) and it was a lot of fun. Many months later NK adds their own Monkey Teams and you can't imagine my disappointment when I saw they don't change after winning one. The reason Monkey Teams is so fun is because you don't play the same things every time... So instead I just kept doing my own version. At this point whenever I play, stream or not, I play Monkey Teams assuming the (User) Map isn't too difficult. It is the reason I still play this game actually.

For contested territory, I haven't played it in a long time, but it's a shame cause I really do love it, but it just demands SO much investment from the players. Like going for a week straight, playing multiple hours a day is just exhausting, but if you don't then good luck getting any of the relics that make it fun. I really wish there were more challenges on there that were shorter, rather than pretty much everything starting from round 1 to 6

That’s why I quit playing it, it’s far too demanding. Even casually. Especially when you build a team and the majority don’t even participate. Contested territory I feel would be a lot better in a different type of game other than BTD6. Contested territory just doesn’t fit in BTD6 at all. I will never say get rid of it because clearly some players enjoy it, most don’t as it’s far too much of a time investment as you have mentioned. Anything that has to do with a team/clan I just don’t care anymore. Had 3 bad experiences with clans, my friends clan in destiny 2, I gave it my all to grow it only for it to fall apart, my other friends clan in clash of clans that I helped mod for, due to my friend not being active for 2 months that clan fell apart and a team in contested territory where I gave it my all where everyone participated, then the next event happened the entire team fell apart. So yeah count me out of that shit. No more clan/team business for me.

The problem with CT is its too frequent. If it was seasonal like the collection event I would be more likely to do it, but every other week gets in the way of real life. I did it for half a year before getting sick. Once I got sick and missed a week that was it. Half of the team I was basically carrying didn't even participate if I didn't play and I stopped caring. There was one person who continued to play after I stopped, but I didn't have the energy to start over again and while I did feel sorry for that lone player I wasn't going to start that grind over again. With no way to communicate in game with team members on strategy (besides discord sweats which I was not); having to dedicate a week of my life with no sleep to bloons; and very terrible rewards relative to the amount of time dedicated, especially if you didn't top 10%; there just wasn't any motivation to continuing to play.

With like one million maps in this game, I just use Monkey Teams and Golden Bloons to guide me on what map to play. Back then I just stayed on one map and played all the modes in order until I got the Black Border, but using the events gave me much more variety when playing. I do wish there was more MM though.

This video made me remember Bloons city. Hopefully that gets a sequel one day (Bloons Monkeyopolis?) rounds were nasty in that game: round 1 camo lead, the tile modifiers, introduced bosses, some special missions where NOT easy in the slightest... and i LOVED the concept of contested territory.

One of the other reasons Custom Odysseys are so forgotten is because they have no difficulty indicators. You have no idea if an Odyssey is going to be a complete cakewalk or a devilish nightmare. The frustration between the difficulty you want and the difficulty you get is really offputting

After years of playing and 500 hours, I have finally done the 365 daily challenges achievement and am still working on 5 others, including Sapper and the 3 minute race achievement (don't get me started on that one). They should do more achievements which are niche but not grindy (like sapper) or super hard (3 minute race completion).

Hey isab if you ever see this, i would like you to do a comparison. If you still have or can get the mod that let's you get a 5-5-5 monkey then i would like to see what's better, a 5-5-5 monkey or a level 1 paragon of that monkey. Then you can do a max buff 5-5-5 and compare it to a max level paragon or use the mod that allows you to set the paragon level to whatever you want. You don't have to, I'm just curious which is better.

You could have used Obyn If you were worried about cams or cam leads then his Level 3 pops all cam rounds before round 40 and his Level 10 is there before cam leads And even still 2-0-2 soup can pop cam leads

Sauda and super monkey can 2TC if you go 052. It’s definitely possible on resort, adoras temple im not sure about that. Edit: it’s impossible due to the spacing of the Bloons, can’t get them all with leaping sword.
