I've been visiting the Philippines since 1978 and I've seen HUGE Changes over the decades. Ha Ha... I remember the first time I saw a "Toll Booth" on the new superhighway. But what really had me laughing out loud was the first, "NO TURN ON RED" Left Turn Signs in Tarlac!! Manila has grown a lot too. I went with my Uncle to Robertson's Mall back in the late '70s, which at the time was the Only Mall. That has all changed with many Malls everywhere. Other than "Jollee Bee" there were no Fast Food places like there are now. The country is so much cleaner now and vehicles don't pollute like the diesel fuels use too. It's a great adventure at a very good price. I will come back again... I promised my Dad.

You may find some interesting landmarks as well in Mega Manila like Ayala, Makati & Okada Manila in MOA. Near that area is the Sofitel Hotel which offers a luxurious buffet called Spiral and beside Sofitel is an open-air place to witness Sunset in Manila bay while drinking beer in the newest hip bay side called Seascape.

Welcome, Ali and friends (again)! M-Bakery's Banana pudding and Calamansi cheesecake are my faves as well. True, "trying out" food wherever in the PHL will definitely add to you waistline =D Food in the Philippines is the great leveler and Filipinos will feed you if you hadn't noticed yet. Our native cats are called Puspin (a portmanteau of pusa=cat / "pin" for Pinoy) so if that ginger cat was male, that would be a Puspinoy (a female would be Puspinay =D just a play of words we Pinoys are known for. BGC's outdoor sculptures (except for the chandeliers) are among the very first installations in the BGC development (the wall murals came in later and are coming up constantly). There are so many places to go eat the best you will find in the World....Try the Medley in Okada Manila and Spiral in Sofitel Manila all near Manila Bay. They are the best Buffet and can be considered one of the Worlds Best.....

Try to visit Eastwood, it's about 20 to 30 min by taxi from BGC. it is like BGC but the atmosphere look like California. Night life is also amazing
