Loving the Rev Al Sharpton as he delivered his fierce and poignant tribute.... "GEORGE FLOYD YOU WILL MISS YOUR FRIENDS..... BUT AMERICA WILL NEVER FORGET YOU" "George died of an American Criminal malfunction" (he was lynched 21-century style with a murderous knee on his neck for 9 min 29 sec)
I'm Ray Carless the saxophonist here seen performing a musical tribute to the melody of the 'We SHALL OVERCOME' the well-known traditional #protest #anthem and that became the soundscape of the civil rights movement.
I'm dedicating this performance to George's memory on the eve of his committal. It's premature, but George Floyd is on his way to his final and eternal heavenly resting place, . It's a very sad time for most of us, and my thoughts and sympathies are with his family and the millions of people all over the planet who remain affected by his brutal killing.
Our grandparents and parents suffered massively as they fought for their voices to be heard. I'm disappointed that History is repeating itself again with the killing of #RayshardBrooks. R.I.P.
The present coronavirus invested/affected community needs to stop and take a DEEP BREATH, and try very our best NOT to transfer this sad state of affairs of injustice and inequality on to our children and grandchildren.
People around the world have enough on their plates to deal with, and #COVID19 continues to ravage lives. we did not need criminal racist police to wage war on our people..
We want the people to wake up from their slumber to make the most out of this maddening predicament situation, and rise out of this crisis breathing fresh new air. We never want to hear those words "I CAN'T BREATHE' that was adopted as a rallying cry by people who came out onto the streets all over the globe to make their voices heard through peaceful protest.
Most recently my heart has been filling up with joy now that there are some indicators and visual evidence that our voices are being heard and supported by the masses who have stood up in support. This is HUGE & OVERWHELMING, but the battle is not yet won, we shouldn't stop protesting until we eradicate racism, corruption, inequality, and injustice from every corner of our planet.
Together we can make a lasting change, so let us continue standing firm, holding hands, and uniting together to take full advantage of this momentous but sad moment in history and this opportunity to get our messages of peace heard.
#ICANTBREATHE, but I'm feeling a tiny bit more positive, I'll NOT cease my participation or vocal protestations as long as this racist murderous pandemic of Police violence that's endemic throughout our police force is starved of the oxygen of hate that they stockpile to suck in and exhale when dealing with our people of color. ......
#JUSTICEFORGEORGEFLOYD and all who've been affected by police brutality past and present....Ultra-aggressive criminal racist police officers have been getting away with their fatal skulduggery with impunity for way too long and it's time to put a stop to that.
